This large 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo has spectacular views and is in the perfect location to visit the beautiful Big Island, with a spacious great room, kitchen, laundry, a/c, private lanai overlooking the heated swimming pool, whirlpool spa and barbecue area and the ocean beyond. Condo was very clean and updated. Location was perfect to the ocean and snorkeling. Close to shops and restaurants. Close enough to downtown Kona but without the noise and traffic. Pool and hot tub cleaned daily grounds well maintained. Only downside is that it is a 3rd floor unit with amazing views unfortunately, without an elevator. Hosts were awesome to work with. Perfect stay

This rental was perfection. Wonderful condo. Perfectly outfitted. Due to a food allergy, I cooked most meals at the condo…so having a well stocked kitchen is key. There were also beach towels, a cooler, and other beach and snorkeling gear. Directly across from one of the best snorkeling spots on the Big Island. Our hosts were phenomenal communicators. We will absolutely return to this magical place.

Beautiful condo; great location

Very beautiful condo right across from a great snorkeling and family beach! The hosts are fantastic and the condo is well-stocked,(body boards, snorkeling gear, chairs, etc.) and beautifully decorated with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and the beach/ocean. We highly recommend this place.

Kahalu'u Paradise

This unit was well thought out, well equipped and the hosts were very easy to work with. We appreciated its proximity to Kahalu'u Bay and South Kona. The unit was nicely decorated and has a fantastic view to the bay. Our kids enjoyed the pool and the geckos that frequent the grounds. Many thanks to the hosts for sharing a dream spot with us!

Perfect Getaway

Second time we’ve stayed at this property. We love the quieter end of Ali’i Drive. Located right across the street from excellent snorkeling at Kahalu’u Beach. Just a short drive up to Kailua-Kona shopping/restaurants, or south for shopping, dining, golf in Keauhou. Extraordinary!

Rachel and Jason have created a spectacular space with an exception view of one of the best snorkeling areas on the big island. The condo is in a quiet neighborhood, convenient distance to Kona or to 2 Step and easy to get the highway to Kīlauea. The condo is well equipped in the kitchen and also with things you might want for the beach. The bed was extremely comfortable. 5 Stars! Will be my choice of where to stay for my next trip to Kona.

Relaxing Stay at Surfing Turtle Kona

Excellent condo on the top floor overlooking Kahalu'u beach. Condo has all the beach and snorkeling gear you need. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking essentials. Lanai is great for meals, sunsets, and relaxation. Wonderful pool and hot tub to enjoy after a long day exploring this amazing island. Hosts Rachel and Jason were very responsive to any questions or needs we had. A heads up for older folks like us, no elevator, just three flights of stairs. Stayed two weeks, very much enjoyed our stay here and would return.

Like Snorkeling? This Is The Place!

We absolutely loved this condo! It is a perfect location across from an amazing snorkeling beach, minutes to a great supermarket and restaurants but yet quiet at night. We loved visiting Volcanoes park, boating along the coast, and eating ahi poke every day. The condo is well equipped and has great sunset views. Thanks for a great vacation!

Wonderfull place with beautifull view

Wonderfull owners. Gave lot of advices on things to see and do. Very clean place. Has beach chairs, towels, snorkelling gear. If you love to snorkel thats the place for you. You see more fish than going on snorkel tours. We look forward staying there again.

Great Property

Surfing Turtle was a great property for our Kona vacation. Communication with the owners was prompt, condo was clean, had great beach gear and the home was stocked with everything you’d need in a rental. Great condo

100% as advertised. Clean, well maintained unit right across the street from terrific snorkling beach. Traffic is loud on Friday and Saturday nights and beach gardner starts the leaf blower at 7am every day however worth the tradeoff for location and quality of condo.

Best for Snorkelers!

This place is perfect if you want to snorkel. The closest place to the best snorkel spot on the island. The condo was super comfortable and clean, great for two people. Hosts super responsive, even purchased a yoga mat for me when I asked if the unit had one. Mattress is quite hard, lots of steps (no elevator) and, as others have mentioned, a lot of road noise and leaf blowers every morning. Overall, wonderful stay.

W O W !!! Literally a tropical paradise!!!

Hosts go above above and beyond to provide EVERYTHING we needed for a perfect vacation. From snorkel gear to beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and towels. Unit is immaculate and linens smell amazing! One of our favorites!

We love the beach villas. The location is great with excellent snorkeling across the street and some of our favorite places to eat are nearby. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Jason and Rachel were really helpful in giving us new recommendations and easy to work with. His photographs in the condo are also amazing. Would definitely come back! Thanks for sharing your home!
