You have just found your vacation spot in Paradise! Sit back and enjoy the spectacular, crystal blue and balmy Pacific Ocean.

This one bedroom, one bath, Ocean View condominium is on the second floor of the F building with fabulous ocean/sunset views. It is wheelchair accessible; there is an elevator nearby.

This resort is a mere 30 feet from crystal-clear tide pools where turtles actually frolic in the waves, and about 100 feet to Honl Beach: a picturesque white-sand beach cove right next to the condominium.

This means you have a front-row seat for seasonal whale watching or troupes of spinner dolphins that play year-round in the water right in front of your condo. And facing due west, you’ll enjoy spectacular sunsets almost every evening from the pool and BBQ are while you dine by the sea, or on your private lanai.

Also positioned right next to the shoreline, the Resort’s recently renovated salt water pool and Jacuzzi is just a few steps away from the unit itself; as well as the four immaculately-maintained gas barbecues in the dining cabana adjacent to the pool.

The location is amazing. Easy walking distance to local shops and restraunts, and has beach access with amazing views. The only real downside to this property was the little things that add comfort.The only AC was a window unit in the living room that ran on a timer. The timer isnt as big of a deal but the bedroom suffers dramatically at night. Honestly if a small unit was added to the bedroom we never would have needed to run the unit in the living room, as the patio had screen doors to allow fresh sea air to blow directly in. The only real complaint I had due to the struggles of sleeping comfortably at night. The next thing which wasnt as big of a deal is the bathroom was smaller and made my wife and I's morning routine of getting ready a little congested. This was not as big of a concern for us, I only mention it for those expecting aomething different. This place does have a full kitchen that someon easily could kick meals rather than eat out, as food prices are fairly steep. Those that are ballin on a budget, I would recomend running to target before and load up on some groceries. Side note: The targets here are insanely nice compared to our local target. They get a 10/10. LolOverall our stay was amazing due to its location. Plenty of parking and easy walking distance to a ton of places including beaches. The sunset view on the public shoreling was amazing! Would recommend to anyone, just dont expect AC.

Quiet paradise

This location can't be beat! An easy walk to historic down, a quiet beach right next door, and an easy drive to other beaches! The place was clean with a great view. We had breakfast on the lanai every morning to the sound of crashing waves and birds. This was the perfect size for myself, my mother, and my ten year old daughter. We would love to return! Aloha!

Beautiful

This property was amazing with a beautiful view of the ocean and sunset every night. The condo was clean, comfy, and had everything we could ask for. The pool and hot tub were the perfect ending to each day. This was one of the best stays I’ve had with VRBO.

Beautiful ocean view but set back far enough to be away from the noise of the pool and barbecue area. Sunsets from the pool deck, or in front of it were a nightly treat. We would stay here again.

Some remodeling done. The plug where the internet modem is plugged in has one outlet not working. Only one lamp worked in living room - socket issue. Tub and shower needs upgrading. Overall a nice condo with a few things needing attention.

General Review

We booked this property because we wanted to be close to our friends. Generally, the property is pretty good. The proximity to the restaurants and shops is the best part of this property. The pool deck is good, the view from the deck is excellent. The actual room is not impressive nor clean. Who ever is cleaning should be fired, the room and all of its items are gross. No way to sugar coat this, there are just so many areas they need to be deep cleaned that are not being addressed. The cable tv does not work, the accessories provided are worn or broken. Just know you’re paying for location, not the room experience.

Loved the condo! Will Definity be back again! Had the adult kids, Wife and I back together in Kona, this condo had literally everything! Full pantry, laundry in room, great size bathroom, patio had tons of chairs and beach chairs and cooler. Loved this place and the owner was amazing

Water stands in the shower, toilet constantly runs, slider is hard to operate, screen runs off track. Finish on the refrigerator is rusty. Only one of three bedroom windows opens. No air-conditioning in the bedroom.

Not updated in 20 years, dark, dirty,

We arrived to a dark hall and unable to see the key pad, had to get a flashlight to get in and to use several appliances. Rooms dark missing extension cords, unable to secure patio door, screen door fell out of track and very difficult to operate. bedding required washing prior to use, floors and closet floors filthy. trash under bed. lamp switches would not work only two spoons in kitchen. the view is the only positive. bedroom is next to busy noisey road. Inadequate cleaning supplies, fixtures falling off walls It is a condo from the past with everything worn and barley working. The complex ihowver is very nice and there are many nice units that are kept up by owners. The units owners are in florida and haven't been to the property in 20 some years per their maintenance person and they avoid any expenses to update the unit unless needed (washer/dryer) flooded the unit with the prior guest there, so it was replaced. Beware of this lower priced unit..there is a reason.

I love staying at Kona Reef. The property is exceptionally clean. I enjoy how close it is to town. The views from the condo are exceptional. Thoroughly enjoy seeing sunsets from the property and hearing the conch shells blow as the sun goes down into the ocean. I cannot say enough about this property. I highly recommend. I and Property Management was always available and easy to reach.

No stay for Allergies

Bedroom was so dusty we had to sleep in pull out bed in living room. If you have sinus problems or any sensitivity to a lot of dust then don’t stay here the dust was terrible.
