Key Colony Duplex

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice house, great location. We enjoyed our stay, had everything we needed for another good vacation in Key Colony. It’s a bit older with a few things needing attention inside but overall nice.

The property is a great location. The unit is upstairs so there is quite a bit of stair travel to enjoy pool and dock facilities. The paper supplies are bare, so bring your own toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags. Ice maker in the house didn’t work, the filtered water did. There is a downstairs ice box for ice, bait, storage, so that is nice. The pool is nice, but was not cleaned while we were there, and the circulation was minimal and did not clean surface debris very well. The Cabana club access was nice, but the sargassum bloom was awful, so the smell was not good. The Mexican restaurant coming into the community is awful, and I would not suggest. The property was clean and family friendly. All in all, we had a nice stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have really enjoyed staying in this rental for three months every year. We think of it as our “other” home. We look forward to returning next year. The sofa in the living room has seen better days; I would never allow anyone to open it up to use the convertible bed. That’s the only reason I didn’t give all 5 stars.

Great location and nice home!

The home fit our family of 6 nicely. It is well kept and in a great location. The beds and pillows could be updated as they are a hard but after spending all day fishing and in the sun you are so tired out you sleep anyway.
