Kamaole Beach Royale #311 is a well-maintained unit that provides two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, separated by the hallway. This unit is air conditioned in the living room and both bedrooms and includes complimentary wifi. The complex has nearby access to restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, and recreation. There is a fully equipped kitchen for all of your cooking needs and a washer and dryer in the unit. Both bedrooms provide queen-sized beds and split a/c and the two bathrooms are equipped with updated showers. The living room provides a medium-sized television with cable along with a split system a/c. Feel your worries melt away as you enjoy a meal out on your private lanai. Kamaole Beach Royale #311 supplies beach chairs, a cooler, and beach towels for outdoor adventures. This unit is in the heart of South Kihei and perfect for those seeking the convenience of being right in the center of the action! The unit sleeps up to 4 guests.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation require a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.

Very efficient heat pump to cool the bedrooms at night for sleeping.The condo was very clean when we checked in. Instructions for door access easy! Beautiful ocean views, and blinds to pull down on the lanai when the sun is a little too hot to handle. Generally nice 2 bedroom unit. Bit of an ocean view. A/C was nice, though the A/C unit in the living room made a racket on and off. Bathroom cabinets are not in good condition and a number of drawers in the kitchen are stuck closed or extremely difficult to open. Otherwise a good family-friendly place to stay close to beach.

AC throughout with a view

We loved having AC in all the rooms and having a great view of the ocean. There are a few quirks about the place that I would change if I could, but overall it was great. Like others have said, you can’t really use the freezer because it’s close to the wall.

Overall nice rental property with a couple of gotchas for us

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Pros: Good location. Nice cold A/C throughout. Big lenai. Well stocked (pots, dishes, spices, snorkel gear, beach towels, etc). Internet worked fine. Mostly quiet. Nice beach short walk away. Lovely breeze through unit when lenai and front door open at same time. Cons: No blackout shades in bedroom (bright in morning). Loud birds outside bedroom window woke us up very early each day. Too much glass/decorations for young children. Bedroom windows didn't have working locks so easily accessible via public walkway (they provided dowel rods per our request). No content streaming to TV (bring a Roku). Pool was unusable due to construction noises. As an aside: I also didn't realize how uncomfortable two adults in a queen sized bed would be. My husband ended up sleeping on the couch. There is no king in the unit.

Schöne Wohnung mit Makeln

WĂ€ren die Ungeziefer nicht gewesen, hĂ€tte es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt werden können. So hatten wir mit Ungeziefer Sprays versucht, diese Viecher loszuwerden. Sie waren in der KĂŒche, im Bad im Wohnzimmer und dem Schlafzimmer. Kakerlaken-Spray war schon vorsorglich bereitgestellt. Also kein unbekanntes Problem.

Great location is the key

The keypad to enter condo was inoperable. The next door neighbor tried to help out. The kids were ready to get in after traveling all day, and the groceries were heavy. The office was closed so had to call the emergency line to just get in. The keypad did not work all week so had the unwanted responsibility of carrying the key to the beach rather than the ease of typing in a code. The place is exactly in the photos. Location is wonderful! Mattresses great and plenty of towels and cooking gear. A note, The cleaning supplies are limited, which was surprising especially given going to the beach and being active with family’s you get dirty. Just like home

We chose this propery because we love Kam 1 beach and it's the perfect location for all the things we like to do. We love that it is a 2 min walk across the street to the beach. We will be using this property for all our future travels. This unit served all our needs very well for the ten day stay.

Exactly as described

Overall we were happy. To us it looks like the owner has been upgrading the condo. We were shocked that during our visit Lowes brought a brand new large refrigerator and took away what appeared to us to be an almost new refrigerator that actually fit better in the kitchen than the new one. The new refrig has a freezer door that because of its design and the limited space can't be opened completely and so we were not able to place anything large in the freezer. I'm sure the owner wasn't aware of this and we understand his intent of improving the condo. The refrig movers made scuff and scratch marks on the floor which made us concerned that we might be blamed. Rentals Maui's wonderful employee J.R. came to help us clean up after the movers and assured us we wouldn't be blamed. The only negative that we felt is that even one extra white kitchen garbage bags was left for us which surprised us as we have rented over 30 condos in Hawaii and every rental has always at least a few empty kitchen garbage bags to use as well as there was only about 1 ounce of dish soap in the kitchen. Overall we liked the location as well as we felt it was a comfortable condo. Plenty of breezes to keep the non air conditioned condo's bedrooms cool enough.

Great location and space for 4!

My husband, sister, sister's boyfriend, and I stayed here for about a week and we loved it. The furniture is a little dated, but it added to the charm for us. Plenty of space for all of our stuff with comfy beds and the lanai for morning coffee and breakfast overlooking the ocean. We spent our last couple of nights on the rooftop and really wished we'd gone up there sooner. Great for sunsets and some stargazing. If you're used to A/C a night, though, keep in mind that there's only one window unit in the living room. We set up a box fan in the hallway which, along with the ceiling fans throughout the house, helped cool down the bedrooms at night. It's definitely in a touristy area but nowhere near the crowds we saw when we visited the fancy-hotel district in Kaanapali and is very quiet at night. It's across the street from Kamaole Beach I, which was perfect for our group who wanted a mix of beach relaxing and ocean fun. Lots of great restaurants within a 5-minute walk but also within a 20-minute walk to several others and some great dive bars. We enjoyed Kihei's central location - we could be in Lahaina, Wailea, or Paia in 30-45 minutes and were about an hour and a half from the summit at Haleakala. If we decide to stay in Kihei next time, we'll definitely stay here again.

Beautiful views but needs updating

The location is perfect, centrally located to pretty much everything. The condo still has a lot of updating to do. Popcorn ceilings and old furniture. There was no Keurig coffee machine which I took Keurig cups purposely since it listed it had one. You can’t leave anything on the counter because we had lots of little ants all over the kitchen and in the outlets. No paper products are supplied other than the ones that are left there so be prepared to go and buy. As a property rental owner it would be nice for the owners to supply trash bags and paper products so when we are away on vacation we don’t have to go and buy in bulk. A welcome email prior to arrival with instructions of who to call and how to get in would be nice. I was left guessing of how to get a key and get into the room. it all worked out eventually.
