Ocean-View Maui Kamaole Condo – A/C, Lanai, Walk to Beach & Pool!

Ocean views from this second floor condo are sure to be a sight you'll never forget. Rattan furnishings with Tropical accents adorn this unit to create an island feel perfectly fitting for your Maui vacation. Your view from the living space balcony could compel you to never leave your unit for the duration of your stay.

The master bedroom is located in the loft and has a king bed and a full bathroom en-suite. The second bedroom is located on the main floor and has two (2) twin beds. The living room has a sofa bed, allowing this condo to accommodate up to six (6) people. There are two private lanai's, one off of the living room and a smaller one located off of the loft bedroom. The living area has a comfy couch and two armchairs for the whole family to be comfortable while watching some television or maybe enjoying some quality conversation.

Maui Kamaole is Kihei's premier condominium complex, featuring low-rise, low-density, townhome style condos, set on a hill overlooking the blue Pacific. The gardens and lush landscaping are a true tropical paradise. The property features 2 pools with spas (one sand bottom!), gas grills, tennis courts and clubhouses for guests use. It should be noted that Maui Kamaole does not have elevator use for their guests and there will be a flight of stairs if you are in a second-story unit.

Maui Kamaole is close to restaurants, beaches and shops. Some of the recommended restaurants include Sarentos on the Beach, Cafe O Lei, and 808 Deli. Kihei Kalama Village is a shopping center 5 minutes away and has an open-air market and a spot for a favorite Hawaiian treat- Shaved ice. There is also a Foodland (grocery store) a couple steps down from Kihei Kalama Village. Furthermore, if you need any additional things for your condo throughout the duration of your stay you can venture to Piilani Shopping Center which is about 10 minutes away to Safeway grocery store, Starbucks, and even the food court located in the same mall featuring Subway, Cold Stone Creamery, and Round Table Pizza. Some beaches in the area are Mai Poina Beach Park and Sugar Beach. Additional activities to enjoy are the Maui Ocean Center, Maui Tropical Plantation, or various Upcountry Maui opportunities such as the Lavender Farm, Ocean Vodka, or Zip Lining. We recommend renting a car, but alternative forms of transit include Airport Shuttles, Public bus, taxi, Uber and Lyft.

We loved the peaceful time spent on the porch with a wonderful ocean view. The beach and a wonderful grassy area are a short (3 minute) walk away. The condo unit itself was clean, well-furnished, and very comfortable. I had to call in for several "need help" questions to the condo reception number and they were always very courteous, professional, and quick to help me with my problem. We would recommend staying here to any and all friends and familly!

Reviewer Comments: We were 2 adults, 3 and 5 years old staying for 1 week in ocean view 2 bdrm after staying in a big condo building (over 100 units) in Kaanapali paying more than double at the first place. This property was superior in all aspect except a condition of the pools and proximity to beach. We were very satisfied with size of the room cleanness, view from lanai, quietness, response time from management company, availability of towels, linens, cooking tools and utensils, equipment and toys for brach etc. We found our favorite beach and drove there every day. Therefore that the pool felt like only welcoming adult and the proximity to the beach did not bother us much.

We bought a nice beach umbrella, and left it for future guests, a must have. The fan in the lower bedroom has a few screws loose, so it make noise when running. And the Weber BBQ wouldn't seem to heat up over 250 degrees, making it tough to cook steak and fish. All else was very good.

The upper pool is beautiful, and the view from our balcony amazing. It's a bit dated, the carpet, the bathrooms, the walls, fans, but very functional for a family. Nice to have air in the living room and bedrooms. Fully stocked kitchen, and about a 10 minute walk to restaurants. Just across the street from the beach.

Great place. Great location. Great views! Loved having ac. Beds very comfortable but pull out and patio furniture could be updated. Kitchen sink drain is tricky and dishwasher filter was really dirty. I would recommend curved shower curtains in the bathrooms. Nice appliances and great having our own laundry!

Location was good wish it was little more upgraded unit. Kids enjoyed swimming pool. Kitchen pots and pans were very poor quality.Maui condo staff was very cooperative.

Comfortable Stay

Was just the right size for our group. The dryer did not provide a way to empty the lint and therefore the clothes did not dry with one cycle. Also, the bed linens could maybe use an update, especially in the downstairs bedroom and linens for the pull-out couch. Overall it was a comfortable stay as the place was clean and in a nice complex. The ocean view was beautiful to wake up to every day.

Great stay in a beautiful place. Loved the location, view, pool, tennis court and grounds, dishwasher and washing machines and fans. A few nitpicks: the reservation system is odd in that it allows owners to bump guests to different units than the ones the guest reserved (we spent a lot of time picking the right unit, booked it, and a month later lost it); there should be a privacy/ noise curtain to screen the top level; the two beds are tiny (for the nightly rate, there should be bigger and better beds and mattresses); the front screens are broken; the kitchen needs re-supplying with glasses, cutlery, etc.; it's irritating to pay over $350 per night and have to buy our own toilet paper; a hanging rack on the front deck would be very helpful since guests can't use the railing for drying wet towels and clothes. Thanks
