Fabulous property

I have stayed in this property twice and I WILL be back. Love the view and the attention to detail in this unit is unmatched. You have it all, beach chairs, cooler, towel/suit rack, ample kitchen supplies, location. It's my home away from home. VERY CLEAN! And I'm PICKY!!!!

The Master bedroom window was so dirty you could not see out of it. Handles on the windows broken or missing. No umbrellas. Sharp edges bottom of bed, cutting foot Ran out of TP. Not enough soap pods. Cups dirty. Lanai swivel chair was busted. The list goes on. Very overpriced for what we got. Perhaps because a bunch of you take a chunk out without caring about what you are renting, what do you think?

Perfect Vacation Spot

We had a great view of the beach, the sunsets and West Maui from our lanai. The beach, quiet, chill and family-friendly, was a one minute walk away. We had a blast and would love to come back again.

Wonderful Stay on Maui!

What a great place to stay on Maui, perfect location with great shops and stores within walking distance as well as a great beach to snorkel and swim with 3 others in walking distance too! The condo was well stocked and even had Hawaiian treats and coffee left for us! Beach towels and chairs were available too! Nicely decorated with comfortable beds.

Unit had cleanliness issues

Unit 204 at the Royal Mauian is in a great location with a wonderful view of the park below, Kamaole I Beach and the ocean. Unfortunately, we had cleanliness issues upon arrival. The door was unlocked and ajar when we arrived which was unsettling; not sure if that was intentional. Within a few minutes of walking in, the bottoms of our white socks were black with dirt. We spent several hours wiping everything down with sanitizing wipes and searched for something to clean the floor with; all we could find was a floor Swiffer (with no dry cloths supplied) and a few brooms, all of which were filthy. There was no wet mop or bucket to be found. We called and requested for a bucket and mop to be dropped off at the unit so that we could clean the floors ourselves during our stay; they later followed up via email and said this was not possible. Two cleaners came by shortly after and they didn’t have a mop either; they brought several rags, soaked them, wrung them out by hand in each room to soak the floors, then used the rags on the end of a Swiffer to dry the floors. It was an interesting method that got the job done, but somewhat odd and concerning to see they didn’t have a mop either. We hoped to cook more in the unit, but the pots and lids were covered in greasy film. The freezer desperately needed to be defrosted; it was unusable as it was completely frozen over and the ice in the icemaker was frozen into one giant, solid block. The cutlery rack in the dishwasher was very dirty.

Great location for families

Very nice location, the space is clean and comfortable. Only small complaint is not enough laundry soap and trash bags for the whole week. Feel like for the price those kinds of things should be well-stocked. The pull-out bed is very hard to get back together, could use some work. The property managers were very responsive. Enjoyed our week.

Amazing view, you can just sit on the balcony to enjoy the sunset. Very comfy beds, pillows and linens. Will definitely stay here again if we return to Maui.

Always Nice

This was my second stay at the Royal Mauian and it is a great location. Views, access to beaches, location to shops and restaurants are awesome. #204 is really nicely appointed and as described. Had some issue with the AC when checking in and it was taken care of same day. The whole family had a great stay.

great location - but with some caveats

Loved the location. Right on the water, close to a very sandy beach and grass area. Could watch the waves morning, noon, and night. Couple things for the hosts to consider: 1) beyond salt/pepper; might be helpful to have some additional pantry staples and spices. If you plan on cooking anything; you'll need to purchase cooking spray, other spices, etc. Would have been helpful to have more basics on hand like other rental properties. 2) pool hours were a bit restrictive; but not sure if the hosts can control that 3) unclear who to call if there is a problem. We had an errant smoke alarm that was faulty. It took us a day to figure out who to call to replace the unit. We bought batteries ourselves; but the smoke alarm was hardwired and needed the wires cut to make it stop chirping

Family Vacation to celebrate University grad and BIG birthday

Location of the property was ideal being right on the water with a view of the beach and the sunset. Great having a washer/dryer in house and most kitchen implements were onsite. Comfortable beds and plenty of beach gear. Could have had beach umbrellas and boogie boards but they are available to rent across the street at Boss Frogs. Few cockroaches each morning in the kitchen and had to call on the management for install a blind for the evening and morning for some privacy. The blind was extremely grubby. Overall it was a great place to stay.

We loved our stay at the Royal Mauian. Property was clean and had all the equipment for the beach. Wifi was great. Check-in process was very easy. You really can't beat the location. Lots of places to eat across the street.

Nice but...

We've been to the RM multiple times and all units are beautiful, this one included. I would be remiss however if I didn't provide some feedback of this particular unit...it's close to the street so a bit noisier and a few things in the unit were "rickety" (towel bars, toiler paper holder). Has all the amenities you cold need for outside (chairs, umbrella, snorkel equipment but the kitchen was bare. Salt and pepper that's it. no olive oil, no basic seasonings (steak seasoning, garlic salt etc.). I spent over 40$ just on those items alone. that being said, it's also a bit pricier than other equally as nice units and better situated. I'd stay here again but only if the other units were unavailable.

Best location in Kihei

What a perfect location overlooking the ocean and next to a wonderful beach. Walking distance to stores, restaurants and ocean activities. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable living areas. The view from the lanai was gorgeous We would definitely stay here again.

Great condo with beautiful view

Our family of four really enjoyed our stay in the Royal Mauian condo. It was clean, well equipped, and we appreciated having plenty of bath towels, beach towels and beach chairs for our use. The beds were very comfortable and the AC and ceiling fans made the conditions friendly to a good night’s sleep. Our favorite things about the condo though were the view of the beach from the lanai, and the fact that we could snorkel right off the Kam 1 beach in front of the condo. We liked the location, too - on the beach but close walking distance to several coffee shops and restaurants to pick up food. The property company was responsive and helpful. We’d come back!

Beautiful sunsets and property!

Property and unit is convenient and pretty as pictured, rental agency very receptive and so very helpful. Kam 1 is an amazing beach. Lava Java every morning for local grown and brewed coffee. Visited all the places across Kihei Rd for great lunches and Gelato! Wonderful vacation had by all of us! Hope to be back soon, this is a fantastic location
