This listing is for the right side of the home (Unit B) and offers three bedrooms and two bathrooms across two levels, with the option to rent both sides together for larger groups. Known as one of the most loved and frequently returned-to homes in Killington, it offers a comfortable layout with the main living space upstairs and bedrooms on the main floor, creating a great balance of gathering space and privacy. Inside, enjoy Smart TVs with streaming, games, a cozy wood-burning stove, and an open kitchen ideal for shared meals and celebrations. In warmer months, take advantage of the large back deck, perfect for grilling, outdoor dining, and relaxing, along with yard space to unwind after a day exploring the area. Guaranteed early check in or late check out may be available for an additional charge. âą Our entire home is non-smoking (e-cigs included). You may only smoke on the outdoor deck. This vacation home is 18.2 mi (30-min drive) away from the Rutland, VT (RUT-Rutland Southern Vermont Regional) airport, the closest popular airport to the property.
The stay at the property was very nice, the location was good in proximity to everything. The only thing I can say about the stay is that was out of the ordinary, was an emergency with the plumbing and the property manager just walked in, not really sure if he was owner or property manager didn't catch his name. Just want to let the property owner know that the the tub in the main bathroom wasn't draining properly and the wood burning stove kept blowing smoke back into the living room and was hard to keep lit. The place could use a baking sheet to roast vegetables. Other than that it was a very good stay! We were very pleased with the property and would stay again!
The property is nice, accommodating four legged family members! We enjoyed our state a lot and everything was almost great.
There were two things we noted that were not great, but we were able manage.
1. The fireplace almost suffocated us, bc the flute did not work, or the chimney was clogged. This is something that managed must check before every guest!
2. Other houses near us also had dogs, but the owners did not put them on leashes which made walking out little French bulldog challenging.
We have had a very bad experience here and are reviewing our charges.
Multiple calls to management company which requires answering service to Killington Management.
Wood stove had awful ductwork and caused smoke to come into unit even after though we had flu open. Maintenace said unit doesn't vent well We no heat first night of arrival. Took many hours to warm unit. We had CO alarms at 5:30/am and 8 am the 4-5. Management sent maintain they said to stay ( but we were nervous and awake from 5:30 on.
Then CO alarm went off again Sat eve at 7 pm. We ask to have Fire
Dept check. By 8:30 they Saudi too dangerous CO levels keep rising get out.
We were assigned another unit and could not get into it. BUT downstairs unit had water coming thru and after they opened our unit (Note how long this was taking!!!) There was flooding from water heater. THEN we were assigned another unit. It was niw getting near 10:30. We finally moved in after 11.
So we also have problem s with the $1000 fees you all charged

$279.56 vt tax. Should be 9% of 2788 which is only 250
Cleaning - first unit not very clean, hair in bathrooms floors still dirty and refridgerater dirty with odor.
And we paid $309/for insurance because we disagreed to signing your agreement OVERVRBO cancellation rules !
We want a fees refund and at least one night or more for our interruptions and moving during our vacation
NOW our reservation 1/2-1/10 says 1/6-1/9 WHAT!!!!
The property was very nice and clean. The only issue was that the back deck needed to be addressed (several boards had nails sticking up & a step was very loose) and the back screen to the slider was missing.
