Pour un lodge se trouvant à l'intérieur du Parc on aurait pu s'attendre à mieux. La chambre etait simple mais propre. Ce n'était pas le cas des autres installations, market store et restaurant avec trÚs peu d'options de restauration. Point positif est l'emplacement.

Le personnel est lamentable, la chambre petite avec deux lits deux tables de chevets un fauteuil une grosse commode, la tĂ©lĂ© et trois fenĂȘtres juste la place pour passer au toilette,trop vieux. La lumiĂšre dehors allumĂ©es et deux compresseurs qui tournent tout la nuits le cauchemar, pour un nuit en forĂȘt c'est la catastrophe.......

The staff were willing but the facilities were very poor. The Men's rest room didn't appear to have been cleaned in weeks.The Lodge was due to close for winter 2 weeks later. The menu choice in the kitchen was severely depleted, no stock being ordered if something ran out. The room was very noisy from below (fridges?) The TV didn't work. the 'lounge' lighting was poor, the lounge draughty, nowhere to sit in the evening.

If youre staying here Im guessing its because you’re visiting Sequoia Nat’l Park. There are few things to note. (1) the check in person leaves at 7pm. This was NOT stated on their website or on any platform. So when we arrived(at 7:30pm) you can imagine how freaked out we were when none of the doors would open. Thank God for this guy who was waiting in his car and told us to check if there’s a number on the door we can call because there was an envelope with our name in it that contain the keycards. But we wouldn’t have noticed it if we werent paying attention because there were a lot of posters/signs at the door, it would have been better if they had a bigger sign about it. (2) Our room did NOT have a bar soap. I went downstairs the next day to ask for one and the girl said it should have had a bar of soap. So whoever cleaned our room just wasnt paying attention. Glad we had the shampoo atleast. Also, no hair dryers. (3) Breakfast was a joke. The only thing I ate was eggs, sausage, and bagel (4) Their website said they have a restaurant. Yea I dont know cause it was close by 7:30pm! Again, no where on their website said that. So we drove to the nearest restaurant to get food. (5) it’s an old building so I didnt expect much. The cleanliness was alright, there was mold on the bathroom ceiling. And the hotel overall is outdat. Overall wouldnt recommend, I suggest going to the other ones inside. I would pay a little more for the convenience of the other accommodations.

For the sake of your health, stay away! During our stay we unfortunately observed examples of unsanitary and unclean conditions in the cafe and kitchen area and on the day of departure I was ill with a badly upset stomach, which was very unpleasant to deal with when hiking in the national park without easy access to bathrooms. I was so concerned for the health of future guests that I submitted a complaint about Stony Creek Lodge to the Tulare County Environmental Health Division, which is the first time in my life I've ever felt it necessary to report a business like this. At breakfast I didn't dare touch the sausage and eggs sitting in a dish in dirty lukewarm bain marie water so stuck to the prepacked cereals and fruit pot, though the damage was already done. The lodge looks as if it was built in about 1980 and not much has been touched since, so expect very tired and dated decor and facilities. The staff seemed to all be college age kids who presumably are there for the hiking/climbing they can do on their days off, but unfortunately seem to view running the lodge and dealing with guests as an inconvenience rather than their job. Note that the place closes very early: on the day of our arrival dinner service finished at 6.30pm (yes, finished not started!) and reception closed at 7pm. If I had a dollar for every time the staff said "it's the end of the season, we've run out" then I'd have saved a good chunk of the outrageous cost of $238 per night.

Property is at a great location, in between the 2 parks. Also, while it is a very simple and basic lodge, that is perfectly fine, since no one is visiting for a luxury stay option. But a better job is expected from the staff. Apart from the manager, there is a lack of professionalism on display. They can do a better job in ensuring there is no litter on the property. And make sure they are available after hours in case of guest emergencies.

If I could give it a zero star, I would. Read the following: Room was dusty, cob webs on the lamp shade, floor was nasty. No ac in the unit, burned up in the early evening and froze in the early am. The radiator heater knocked all night. They mentioned about “little animals” in the rooms when we checked in but didn’t see any or signs of them in the room. Breakfast was totally different. There was a bowl of green apples apparently left overnight and you could see where a mouse had a quick snack. This bowl of apples was left there two consecutive mornings. I would recommend staying in Fresno or Three Rivers. This place was one week from shutting down for winter but that is no excuse for keeping the place up. Be warned before booking. I should have read the other reviews more closely before booking.

I am relieved I spent only one night in this so-called “hotel.” It is hard to understand how it can still be open— it should be investigated by the health authorities. The room was filthy beyond imagination. Dust, stains, and a foul smell greeted me the moment I stepped inside. The carpet was sticky, the bed covers looked as if they had been used for weeks(sheets and towels thankfullyok), and the toilet
 I believe it was last cleaned during the Secession wars. The bathroom was so unhygienic that I preferred not to touch anything at all. Breakfast was equally disgraceful: a few stale pieces of bread, something that might have been coffee, and an overall impression of neglect and dirt. Dirty tables, scary kitchen in sight, and crumbs everywhere — it was impossible to eat without feeling sick. I travel a lot, and I can say without exaggeration that this was the worst accommodation experience in the Western world. Just one night there was already too much. Avoid it at all costs — this place should not even exist. Wifi worked well.

The only two good things about this hotel was the staff was nice and the location. Otherwise this was the filthiest, dingy, run down hotel that I or my husband have ever stayed in (and we do a lot of traveling). The men’s bathroom was horrible (growth of something in the urinal) and the shower in our room had mold growth. For $220/night - no worth it at all

The entire "lodge" smelled of mildew and sweat. The "restaurant" was so filthy we could not even consider buying food or partaking of their included "breakfast." The room was also poorly maintained and unclean. The television satellite input was not functioning at all. The bed was lumpy and left me with a sore back. The price for these substandard conditions is ridiculous. The location, although situated in the park, was not conveniently located near the major sights. The CA health department should investigate the kitchen. I do not recommend staying at this dump.

Stony Creek is a charming small lodge located in the beautiful Sequoia National Forest. It is an older facility but is well maintained and clean. The staff was excellent and attentive to our needs. Though there is a short drive to the main sights in Sequoia National Park, it is away from the crowds and is more affordable than other options in the area. Free breakfast included! We enjoyed our stay there very much!
