"Loved our two night stay at Lakes Hotel and Spa. We opted for the small double with hot tub and it was a sizeable, clean and gorgeous room with a view to the front, very impressed! Location is perfect; a 5 min walk to the windermere centre with shops, cafes and restaurants. We walked to the marina (10mins) which is the opposite direction and would recommend a meal at the marina restuaurant. The hotel has a lovely cocktail terrace, restuarant, pub and oriental resturant. Breakfast in the main restaurant was lovely and we had dinner in the pub which was great. We made use of the spa facilities which were great too Thank you!"

"We had a great 1 night stay at The Belsfield Hotel conveniently placed for a short stroll to the bars and restaurants The room was lovely and clean, beds comfortable, with a great view over the lake . Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was a delight and to top it off the weather was great so we sat out in the gardens with a drink from the well stocked bar ,would definitely return"

"Stayed here 3 times short walk from the station! Stayed in room 205 which is at the rear of the building so nice and quiet away from the city traffic noise! We always book DB&B excellent value, the hotel seemed quieter than previous visits. Pre-dinner drinks were very very limited as bar person said they were waiting for a delivery actually only Guinness on draft & beer fridge almost empty! My partner & I both choose the soup which was delicious he had chicken curry which was an large portion together with trimmings I choose seafood "
