This hotel was fantastic for my husband and I’s first time in Kyoto. Conveniently located near Kyoto station and walkable to so many great food and shopping options. Would stay here again!

I loved this hotel! Walking in from the intense summer heat and humidity, i was immediately greeted by cool air conditioning and a very plesant spa like fragrance in the air. Staff were excellent and helpful and the rooms are extrememly clean and comfortable. Location was perfect, a huge mall right next door! Becareful when ubering back as there are multiple Daiwa hotels in the area.

A good property with a decent sized room that met expectations. As with many hotels in Japan, there are plenty of amenities. Breakfast provided is good with a mixture of western and eastern options to cater to both needs. Rooms are quite clean and have everything you need. Located close to Kyoto station with a range of transport links, although if you are travelling to places like Gion, Inari, Arashiyama etc it's likely you'll need to take a bus for some of these trips. Staff are polite but not warm in my opinionn There are laundry machines available but they are usually quite busy and sometimes other guests will go out and leave their washing for hours unattended so something to bear in mind if you are planning to do laundry on your holiday.
