Hotel is conveniently located to train and bus stations. Lots of high end shops around too aside from drug stores and convenience stores. Walking distance to Nishiki market, Gion and other attractions. Wish we had more time in this area.

Nice hotel in Kyoto

Our favorite hotel in Japan! It's so close to the station, lots of busses, shopping, eating nearby. The staff was so helpful- they filled out my Yamato shipping form for me and took care of things. The only annoyance is that despite using a key card, the elevator always stops and opens at floor 2. The laundry facilities were very nice and you could check on them on the TV (to see how much time was left or if they were free). I also loved how the pajamas were two piece variety!
