Charming 4 BR/2 BA Birdrock Beach House with Some Ocean View

Lovely kid friendly Birdrock house awaits you for you vacation. 3 blocks to the ocean, and 1 mile to beach access in both directions. Relax on the large patio where you can enjoy peak view of the ocean, barbecue or take a 2 minutes stroll to the La Jolla Blvd for a variety of restaurants, bakery, and coffee shops. No need to drive anywhere. Everything is in walking distance Our house has 4 bedrooms with 2 queen size bed, one full size,and a bunkbed with a double/twin bed.There are 3 TVs, Internet access, Wii games, X-Box, DVD and a foosball table.
No parties are allowed as houses are very close together and this is a family neighborhood.

Play games on the grass in the front yard which is completely fenced in, which is great for Kids and Pets, or use the large deck to catch some sun. Borrow our bikes and cruise down the bike path or to the beach. Boogie boards, beach chairs and towels are provides for your convenience.


Why the Owner Chose Bird Rock: My husband and I moved here 20 years ago from Sweden and England. We have lived in different locations in USA, but we found that La Jolla is one of the most beautiful places in California, and one of the best places to live.

The Unique Benefits at this House: You will find a friendly, and easygoing neighborhood where people love the outdoors. We live in a granny house on the same property but do not share any walls or out door space. We are always available if needed.

We have been happy with most of our rentals in La Jolla, but this is by far our favorite. The home is light and spacious, and the kitchen is very well-stocked, which is important for us because we love to cook and have our grandchildren come over for baking projects. The beds are very comfortable, and the house is nice and quiet for sleeping. Annelie was a wonderful host. She was readily available to answer any questions we had, while giving us plenty of privacy. We honestly had a difficult time leaving and look forward to our return visits.

A Perfect Stay in La Jolla

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful La Jolla home! The location is absolutely unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach and close to great coffee shops, grocery stores, and scenic coastal trails. The house itself was clean, spacious, and full of character, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved the outdoor space for morning coffee and evening sunsets. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful and stylish coastal escape!

Great Family Vacation Spot!

Stayed at this property with my family, including my grandmother. It’s a wonderful location with great views of the ocean just steps away. Great area for walking/biking with easy access to coffee shops, etc. The home owner/host is very responsive and the property is lovely. We hosted a quaint dinner gathering with some local family members and it worked out perfectly. There’s everything you need in the home for a small dinner party. Absolutely worth it! We would stay here again and hope to someday.

Lovely Bird Rock Stay

Annelie’s Bird Rock house was absolutely perfect. The house was clean, large, had all of the personal amenities would could need even a pack and play and high chair for the children. The fully fenced front yard was perfect for small children to play in and the multiple seating areas on the back deck were perfect for afternoon lounging and enjoying family meals. The house is also in easy walking distance to all that Bird Rock has to offer.

Wonderful Bird Rock stay!

Wonderful in every way. This house is well-kept and interesting. Sometimes “interesting” is a nice way of saying “weird,” but not here! Lovingly kept, not sterile or boring. Spectacular patio out back for relaxing. Location perfectly situated between La Jolla and PB. Hosts were great!

Part of the Neighborhood

The house welcomed us and made us immediately feel like local residents. So many things were walkable - coffee shops, restaurants, wine store, ocean views. And when we did venture out whether to the Wildlife Safari or San Diego sites, it was a great starting off point. The kitchen was very well stocked and there is a great grill on the patio. It's a house that feels like a home thanks to terrific hosts.

Great Place for Family Gatherings

We very much enjoyed our stay in Bird Rock. This was our second time at this property and we have found it works great for family gatherings. We like that there are four separate bedrooms and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking/serving group meals. We ate most of our meals outside on the back patio which is quite large and has lots of seating. We would definitely return to this location!

Birdrock Gem

A perfect spot for our family reunion. Great location close to local coffee, bakery, restaurants and stores. The owners equipped the house with everything we could have needed along with thoughtful touches. The kitchen was well supplied with cookware, spices and other basics. Prefect family home in Birdrock
