Please note: Several buildings on the northern side of Puamana’s oceanfront community were impacted by the Lahaina fires of 2023. Fortunately, this property and the entire southern side of Puamana were unharmed; however, cleared parcels will be visible as you drive down the highway and first enter Puamana. We’re also pleased to report that two grocery store complexes in Lahaina—Safeway and Foodland Farms—as well as Maui's renowned Hula show, the Old Lahaina Luau, and four excellent Lahaina restaurants—Ocean Tavern, Mala, Aloha Mixed Plate, and Star Noodle—were not affected and are all less than a ten-minute drive away.

The condo is in a fantastic location and the size was perfect for our family of 5. The only drawback would be a few more kitchen type items. Outside of that, the location was perfect and quick to get anywhere we needed. The sunsets on the log with waves crashing in front of you couldn’t be beat. Evening football games with the fam on the huge grassy yard, amazing! Definitely recommend this spot!

Beautiful home with exceptional sea views

Our family stayed here for 5 nights. The checkin and checkout was easy. We absolutly loved the home, it was just perfect for me, my husband and kids. Every morning coffee looking over the ocean was heaven for me. The sunsets were amazing. Spotted some turtles in the waves. The property was very neat and had every thing we needed. kids loved the swimming pool and playing at the beach. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Maui.

Amazing Property & location!

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teenagers) absolutely loved everything about this property! We loved having 2 bedrooms and easy, walkout access to the ocean. The location is so convenient to everything, and the sunsets are stunning! In addition, the neighbors and property management was so friendly! We did not want to leave, but we will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

This is a townhouse condominium that looks directly across the Pacific Ocean to the island of Lanai. The development is from the mid1960s but the unit was recently renovated. It is conveniently located at the southern end of Front Street making for an easy drive to Lahaina and quick access to the highway to get to the other towns in Maui.

The location is great! Beautiful sunsets every night. But within 2 hours of our arrival, the power went off and stayed off for 22 hours. No TV, no coffee, no hot water, no A/C. Residents told us that rolling power outages are not unusual. The entire Lahaina area and north were out.The kitchen and bathrooms are updated, but the rest of the unit is original. Air conditioners are old and noisy, with visible ductwork on the walls. It appeared that the one in the primary bedroom had a leak that worked its way into the wall. The windows are original and screen doors don't fit well, so we used a rolled-up towel under the front door to keep critters out.The kitchen is reasonably well-equipped, with dishes for at least 3 people, some spices and oil. Detergent was supplied for laundry, dishes and dishwasher. We were responsible for washing dishes, sheets and towels before leaving, which was ok.Because of the noisy air conditioner, we turned off the one in our bedroom at night and turned on the one in the other bedroom.Beware getting too friendly with the next door neighbor. She was nice at first but talkative, and she became very aggressive about her politics. In the end we avoided each other.Maui itself is difficult to get around, with a mostly 2-lane road around the perimeter (but not completely around!) and traffic can be very slow some times of the day. Getting to other areas of the island requires driving back to the airport and looping around from there.

The community is well maintained and quiet. Our condo was well stocked with cookware, appliances, etc. We had a beautiful view of Lanai and were super close to the shore (~120 ft). The water is shallow with light surf - not a snorkeling beach, but great for a quick dip. It's rocky though, so wear shoes. This complex is close enough to town that you could walk to Front Street for shopping and restaurants (1.3 miles about 20-25 min walk). It's a 5 min. drive to the free public parking lot (3 hr max) at the south end of Front Street. About 15 min. drive to Ka'anapali Beach, and a 55 min. drive to Makena Beach.All in all a great place to stay.

Look no further, stay here!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this condo! The home has everything you need for a relaxing holiday (including beach towels, boogie boards, beach umbrellas, and beach chairs - all of which they don’t even tell you about!). The kitchen is well equipped and nicely updated. The bathrooms have obviously been recently renovated and are beautiful! The bedrooms are perfect. The view from the master bedrooms is second to none. We slept with the windows open to hear the waves. 😍. The air conditioning works well in both bedrooms and the living room to keep the entire condo cool. The pull out sofa in the living room was actually quite comfortable (according to my 12 year old son who LOVED sleeping there and listening to the waves). We (two adults, 14 year old, 12 year old, and 9 year old) had this home for 10 nights and couldn’t imagine a better place to stay. You have the quiet of a gated community, we felt safe letting our kids run ahead of us and just be kids, but you’re also extremely close to Lahaina and Front Street for any shopping or dining needs. Puamana is the BEST! Above all the great things provided inside the condo is the backyard. The pictures do not do it justice! The beach at Puamana is also fantastic, soft sand, no big pulls, and limited crowds. When you get tired of the ocean (or just need a break) all three pools in Puamana are great! The property managers were also incredible. Easily accessible and very responsive. We want stay here again and again! 🌺

The air conditioning was easy to manage and worked very well in conjunction with the ceiling fans. This unit is far away from the pool, so we would probably book a unit closer next time. The beach is very rocky here and not much beach to enjoy. The property was clean and in good condition. The beach chairs were a nice surprise and we used them when we went to D.F. Fleming beach. The location close to Lahina was nice for our Scotch Mist 2 sailboat excursion and our ferry trip to Lanai to the Cat Sanctuary. We also enjoyed the Thai food truck across from The Times grocery, near Kaanapali. Other delicious meals were brunch at The Plantation House and dinner at the Hali'imaile Genera Store. We made reservations about 2 weeks in advance for both. We also visited the Surfing Goat Dairy Farm, The Ocean Distillery, and Maui Wine- all up country.

Amazing view, great location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this place at Puamana for it's view and ease of access to the ocean. Easy parking and such an amazing view from the back lanai. Lots of space to keep paddleboards we rented as well. Inside was good. The downstairs and kitchen was updated and very nice - upstairs could use some updates but no complaints overall - very nice and clean place in a perfect location.

Gorgeous, perfect location

Spent almost a week at this condo, and it was perfect! Just steps away from the beach, and serene. Would definitely try to stay here again!
