Luxury Log Home On The BIG Lake

Beautiful lakefront log-home style vacation home with spectacular views, fireplace in a community with two outdoor pools and one indoor pool; it is located on Lake Wallenpaupack in beautiful Lake Ariel, PA which is about 2 hours from New York City. You will look out your windows to beautiful views of the giant lake. Unlike being on a small lake, which doesn't allow powerboats or jet skis, Lake Wallenpaupack is a gigantic power boating lake (15 miles long). BYOB! (bring your own boat) or you can rent pontoon boats, wave runners, and speed boats for the day and park them at your own dock! We accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover cards as payment, but not American Express, sorry.

Renter Requirements: Renters must be 30 years of age or older and we will require photocopies of drivers licenses to ensure compliance with this rule. Families with children are the only exceptions to this rule. There is NO smoking in the house. NO CATS are allowed.

Community: For summer renters, there are two outdoor pools....There is a nice lodge at the nearby pool which offers games for kids & teens. There are tennis courts at this pool area which must be reserved in advance at the main office. There is also an indoor pool which is about a 2 minute drive and there is schedule of times that it is open. All community amenities require badges which we will provide to renters.Fishing: there is ample opportunity to do so and the fishing is great in all three lakes (Lake Wallenpaupack is the BIG lake, and the two smaller lakes in our community are called Deer Lake & Beaver Lake, which are both NON-power-boating lakes). If you wish to fish, you MUST get fishing licenses to do so (adults). It is a simple process and it is very inexpensive, but it could cost a lot of money if you fail to have one and get caught fishing without it! Please contact owner for website where you can purchase your fishing license.

We were 2 families here and we stayed for 3 nights. The experience was amazing, the house was clean and had the perfect ambiance for a snowy winter getaway. The host was also very reactive he helped us fixing a door issue by sending us a handyman over the next day we arrived. We will surely do it again and probably try it during spring as it has very a nice lake next to it.

The house was exactly as depicted in the photos. We arrived a bit early and the cleaning staff were finishing up, they did an outstanding job. The decor kept to the lake/ fishing theme without overdoing it. All appliances worked perfectly. We loved loved the screened in porch. My son caught a few fish off the dock. We are very happy we selected this house.

Nice cabin with great views of Lake Wallenpaupack. Clean house and comfortable bed (only slept in main bedroom). Good walking roads with our dog, little traffic. Fairly hilly, which we liked, but less mobile guests might find the elevation change a challenge.

Fantastic spot to relax

Property was exactly what the advertisement started. We were all so relaxed that we were almost to tired to do anything. Dock was perfect for our teenager to use her jet ski. Would highly recommend and have recommended already. We will definitely return

Family vacation on the lake

The perfect house for our family and 2 dogs. It was so nice to have such a great house in such a great location for our family. Our older teen girls and our 2 golden-doodles were able to jump and swim right from the dock, we rented a boat for a few days we could tie up and made it so easy in our day. The deer were amazing and not at all scared-my daughter was able to hand feed some apple to 2 of them. Martin's house was clean and well-stocked- there isn't a thing I would change or suggest.
