Wallenpaupak Lakefront Cabin

Please note that the minimum night stay starting from June 20th - August 31st 2020 would be for seven nights.

Pocono mountain cabin on beautiful Lake Wallenpaupak in northeast Pennsylvania, fieldstone gas log fireplace, picture window looks down 7 miles of water. Private dock and kayak (May till Mid October), electric heat and a/c, fully furnished including washer and dryer. WiFi is available. Skiing, hiking, and horseback riding nearby. Close to Victorian town of Hawley, PA with restaurants and antique shopping. 'Claws and Paws' zoo in the woods for the kids. Visit our website for more information!


Skiing: Ski resort, Big Bear at Masthope is 25 minutes away. Shawnee, Camelback, Elk Mountain, Montage are an hour away.

EXCELLENT STAY!Our stay at the cabin by the lake was absolutely unforgettable. The place is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by nature in a way that instantly brings you calm. The views of the lake—especially at sunrise—were breathtaking.The cabin was spotless, cozy, and fully equipped with everything we needed. We loved the quiet mornings on the porch, the fresh air, and the feeling of being completely away from the noise of everyday life. It truly felt like a little sanctuary.The hosts were thoughtful, welcoming, and made sure every detail was perfect. My mom and I got away for a few days while her roof was being done at home. This cabin was the perfect stay for the 2 of us. We loved everything about it and have nothing negative to say about our stay. It’s right on the lake and the view is beautiful. We often sat on the back deck and just watched the water. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and we slept great. We loved popping the fireplace on at night when it got a little chilly. There were lots of great restaurants close by for dinner. Our favorite breakfast spot was the lake Wally CafĂ©. We loved our stay so much. We are hoping that we can come back and stay again soon.

This is a lovely little cottage with lots of charm--where you feel comfortable right away. The setting is beautiful and we were blessed to have more good weather than not. We enjoyed the lake from the deck/covered porch and the cabin's large window. We spent a lot of time reading and went out each evening to a different restaurant (there are several in the area). We would love to go back there again some day.

Cozy cute lake house (cabin.)

We had a great time staying at the cabin. The view from the house window is beautiful. The lake was literally right in the back yard. The cabin is very clean and well stocked. I really appreciated all the books when it rained. We definitely want to come back again. I wish we would have stayed longer. The lake is so peaceful and beautiful. We even had several deer visitors! The location is close to several restaurants and within 30 mins of a few amazing waterfalls. Lake Wallenpaupack is Definitely a must destination for families.

Wonderful getaway

We stayed during recent frozen days and thoroughly enjoyed the lake surroundings, hiking trails and comfort of the home. Owners are so responsive and accommodating! There are absolutely no towels so be sure and bring as advised.

Lovely little place

Been coming here for a decade and it's always a wonderful time with friends and loved ones. This is a cozy, cute cabin vibe with plenty of sleeping space and a cozy living room.The only down side is that the electric heat really struggles to warm the main area. It does work, but it takes a very long time. If it's below freezing out it may take several hours to warm up.The lake is a beautiful thing to wake up to and the fire pit out side helps with the vibe and skipping rocks on the lake is a childhood throwback.
