Welcome to a new must-see property in the popular Powder House Pass named A Breath of Fresh Air! This brand new 6 bedroom custom property has been designed and built with your vacation comfort in mind. Located in the heart of the Northern Hills recreational corridor close to ATV/snowmobile trails, this lodge is sure to make your Black Hills vacation the best it can be!

A Breath of Fresh Air is a great option for those groups looking for room to spread out while having a large and open gathering area around the kitchen and living room, vaulted ceilings with floor to ceiling windows and a cozy modern fireplace! The large well-stocked kitchen has a large kitchen island and all the wonderful cooking amenities you enjoy having for cooking meals. There's a dining table with comfortable seating as well as seating around the kitchen island. The kitchen area walks out onto the large deck with an amazing view of the nearby forest, and there's a gas grill available as well. The living room has a large sectional sofa, TV, and fireplace. There's also a 3-stall heated garage great for storing those ATV and snowmobiles you bring on your trip and includes a bar and pool table in the garage! The lower level has a nice living area with a sectional sofa, TV, and a wet bar with mini fridge. There's a walk out from the lower level out onto the patio that includes a hot tub for those cool nights. The lower level also includes a full game room complete with air hockey arcade games!

Outside you'll find a nice driveway that can fit a smaller trailer or two, and great proximity to the local clubhouse where you'll have access to a heated pool, fire table and game room with pool table! You can easily take the couple minute walk over to the clubhouse down the main road through the subdivision and likely see wildlife on your short walk. There are snowmobile trails that can be accessed on the edge of the subdivision, and ATV trails that can be easily accessed on a short ride down Rochford road that you can connect with miles and miles of off-road fun!

Deadwood is only 15 minutes away and there are taxi's that do service the area if you're looking to take in a concert, gamble, enjoy some great food or just walk the historic main street. The highly popular Spearfish Canyon is just 10 minutes away as well, with its amazing fly fishing, hiking, and just taking in the beauty of the rim-rock canyon walls and local waterfalls. In about an hour drive, you can also be enjoying larger attractions like Mount Rushmore, Keystone, Custer State Park, Sylvan Lake or Devils Tower. The location of the property is perfectly centralized between so many fun things to do during your vacation.

Wonderful cabin/house! Was the perfect place for our family gathering! We had 18 people ages 3-83 stay comfortably! Game room was an added bonus! The garage space that’s a bar area was absolutely perfect for our Christmas games and new years eve dance! Would highly recommend this Breath Of Fresh Air!

Great place for families!

We had a few families staying here with a wide range of ages between the children. Everyone had a spot to hang out and the dad’s loved the garage! We took a nice walk around the neighborhood and back by the Mickelson trail, beautiful spot and close to skiing and deadwood!

Loved this house!

We had 14 people for an annual ATV trip that we take to the Black Hills every year and everyone loved the house so much we will be renting again for our trip next year. Plenty of space, bathrooms and amenities. The game room and pool table with the bar in the garage was a favorite hangout. Would definitely recommend staying at Breath of Fresh Air.

Amazing!

We had an amazing time! Great property and very clean. Everything was so functional and fit perfect with our family. My kids loved the basketball hoop in the garage along with all the games in the basement. The beds and pillows were so comfortable and we were able to get in and out even though they got 4-6 feet of snow. We will definitely stay at this cabin again!!

Fabulous!!!!

We gathered our whole family for five days, including two toddlers. This property has everything for all ages. Tons of towels for swimming and toys for the little ones. Many activities and games for adults. Two rain days were still super fun! I have rented many properties. This is the best so far. Highly recommend it!

Pros: Lots of room, loved the bathrooms with each bedroom, games in the basement, basketball hoop in garage, spacious deck with large table where we ate our meals, well-equipped kitchen, hot tub, fire table, pool nearby. Cons: most faucets sprayed rather than flowed because of hard water, kitchen floor dirty when we arrived. Guessing it was swept, not mopped after previous rental. Overall a great place for our family.

4th of July Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was pretty much as advertised with plenty of room for our whole crew. With bedrooms on all 3 levels you didn’t know who else was in the house, lots of room even with 12 people. Garage set up was great with pool table and bar area and 3 stalls to park. Pool table does occupy one stall space inside the garage. Game room in the lower level was nice and everything worked as well as the large hot tub outside on the lower level. Grill was awesome and has a gas line vs a propane tank so it’s easy to simply open the valve to use the grill. We didn’t use the fire pit but it was set up with chairs and ready for use. The two rooms with queen beds did seem like the beds were small but they worked.Check in time at 4pm isn’t ideal...pretty late in the day when you are trying to get a large group settled in and organized. We were told it was for cleaning which I appreciate but the garbage cans weren’t emptied outside and the previous renter left a dirty sock in the lower level bedroom. Super minor things and overall I would highly recommend this property.
