Book a hotel near Lennox and Addington Dark Sky Viewing Area, Stone Mills

"We were shown into a room with terrible conditions. Everywhere was dusty and there was a terrible stench all over the place. There were several visible stains on the sheets, pillowcases and the mattress. When we informed the staff, it was like they're offended! They took us to another room upstairs. The jallway was dirty and stinky as well. The new room was in the exact same conditions. Dirty, dusty, stinky and visible stains all over the bed. We reached out to Expedia and they talked to the property management. There was nothing they could or would do! Our trip was ruined. We had to head back home since the property was totally unlivable. No refund nor any other compensation was provided. Not even a single word of apology... We were out $200+ FOR NOTHING. Terrible experience and awful service. Is this what hospitality industry has come to in this country?! I don't expect special consierge like a 5star hotel, but you can't even clean the room and offer clean bed sheets anymore?? "

"Lovely location and nice cottage. Great view! Water pressure was very low in kitchen and bathtub. Not hot water in kitchen or bathroom. Hot tub was smaller than originally pictured, 3 people was a squeeze. But it did work and was hot. Communication with host was good. "
