Despite the staff in training doing an amazing job and treating my family with kindness, our experience was overshadowed by the rude and condescending attitude of the supervisor (Paulo) overseeing them. The location is excellent, and the breakfast buffet was decent. However, for a 5-star hotel at this price point, the experience fell short. There were ants in the room, the mattress was of poor quality, and room service was very disappointing. Additionally, a municipal tax was charged at checkout without prior notice, which was unexpected.

Breakfast was nothing short of excellent—fresh, diverse, and beautifully presented, making for the perfect start to the day. As a delightful surprise, I was treated to a complimentary bottle of champagne and a delicious cake, adding a touch of indulgence to my stay. On top of that, we received discount vouchers for the dinner service. The hotel is impressive and the location is perfect for those wanting to use public transport and walk into main Cascais. Really nice property close to the village of Cascais, and a 10 minute walk to the train station if you’re going into Lisbon. Staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make us happy. Breakfast was also great, but the coffee could use improvement. Definitely recommended if you’re looking for a upscale accommodation away from the city.
