The showers were aweful no real head just a wand which sprayed everywhere , they offered to move us but to a smaller room , then they moved us to a room with a proper shower

Love the location/art building/ pool/ staff/ breakfast. However saw numerous cockroaches- which I get happens. Also who we were with paid extra for a balcony and the balcony was basically little spaced in area with no view and they were very disappointed. Not the photos we saw on Expedia.

Lovely room with a balcony overlooking the marina. You're looking through the castle's crenelations, because you are in an old fort. Bathroom lighting is a bit much, but it's clean. The location could not be better. The staff were universally competent and friendly, eager to please. There is quite a large lobby with easy chairs, chess tables, books, and a bar that also serves food. Again, staff were excellent. Breakfast was first class. In short a well-run, well-staffed, very pretty hotel in a perfect location. Note: There is another Pestana hotel in Cascais which is very definitely not this one.

Was in a unique and very convenient location with great aesthetics. The room had high ceilings, was attractive and comfortable. The service wasn't as helpful or warm as in other locations stayed at in Portugal.
