The staff at blades were very friendly, welcoming and helpful.
The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood, just a few minutes walk from Pimlico underground station.
The room is a little dated in decor, but very comfortable.
The stay was lovely. It was a quiet weekend at the hotel and the manager gave me a courtesy upgrade as I have a large suitcase (en route to another country for the following weeks). The hotel has no lift and the staff assisted me in bringing my bags up to the room.
I had seen some complaints about this hotel beforehand calling the street-facing rooms noisy and the rooms themselves way too cramped. I can say we didn't have either of these issues, and instead had quite a nice time at the Blades Hotel! The room we had was definitely on the smaller side per person, but we were able to fit four people into three beds without any issues. We also didn't notice any noise or lose any sleep despite being in a room with a large window facing the road. Besides that, the Pimlico area was lovely and we enjoyed the many local restaurants and parks. And the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, a nice hotel, great if you would like a straightforward place to stay in a nice neighborhood while still having easy access to major London attractions.
Staff were superb! Attentive and accommodating. Bed very comfortable which was a bonus after a long day out and about. Great location close to transportation and sights. Room is small but very comfortable. Not a concern as spent most time out exploring! Great price too. Lots of dining options within walking distance. Highly recommend.
