Property is conveniently located near LAX and provides shuttle service to and from LAX. If your best option is to eat breakfast on the property -> in my opinion, the best things to order are an omelette or the pancakes.

Loved the airport shuttle, staff at hotel gave water bottles and cookies when I checked in. Lots of dining options in walking distance. Negatives, elevator made questionable jiggly shakes when going up and down that made me nervous, they had construction going on in the lobby so had to wait outside when waiting for rides or shuttle, the shower also felt like it wasn't working at times

Great location and stay! My only thing is that it did bother me that as someone staying at the hotel, I was required to pay for parking.

LAX Double Tree

The hotel was nice, being updated. The room was ok but the table by the window hadn't been cleaned and the bathroom by the shower hasn't cleaned either. Daz at the front desk was really friendly and helpful to everyone who had any questions, or that he checked in.

Arrived several hours early due to our cruise time. Asked if there was any way to. Heck in a little early. Front desk was willing to hold bags until 4 pm but could not check in until then. Once in the room, called and asked for an ice bucket as there wasn’t one in the room. Was told they didn’t have any. Only option was to come to the lobby and take a cup to the only working ice machine on the 7th floor. We were on the 2nd. Went to go to the hot tub…. Out of service!!!! Tried to use the gas fire pit near the pool deck, no gas. Was told there were no backup tanks. Breakfast was over priced at $19.99 per person. Overall, not a great experience.

Before booking, I was told we could get food to go from the breakfast buffet if we added breakfast to the reservation. The morning after check-in we went down to the buffet and we’re told that it was only dine in.

Older hotel. The bathroom had mold, water pressure in shower was weak and water luke warm. We had the maintenance person out three times with little improvement. Beds were comfortable.

Overall terrible experience. Got in very late around 2am and was greeted awfully by the front desk. Only reason I booked an extra day on the 5th was because I knew we were getting in late and to get sleep. Getting into the room it smelt terrible. Towels smelled and there seemed to be rodent poop on the bed which we took a photo of. We called downstairs immediately and no one answered. The next day we requested the room to be cleaned and the front desk told us our room was not scheduled for cleaning until the following day. There was also a broken blow dryer. Overall just bad customer service along with poor preparation from staff on our visit. Will not be returning to this location.

Poor and Unclean Housekeeping

We arrived the first night March 6, and by the time the day was ending, we discovered upon preparing to settle down in the bed, that the sheets were unclean and had bodily fluid stains on the bedsheets and hair from previousguest. It took almost 45 minutes to get someone to come and change the sheets. I also alerted the front desk and staff and requested a discount and they only gave $25 off of the cost which we felt was nothing. I would not stay at this location or another Doubletree again.
