Picturesque ocean view beach cottage on a quiet walk street. Approximately 150 yards from the broad sandy beach of Santa Monica Bay stretching from Malibu to Palos Verdes. Short walk to downtown Manhattan Beach restaurants, shops, bars, beach, bike path, pier and more.

Single Family home features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, den (sunroom) with queen pull out couch, kitchen, and front and back patios. Master Bedroom has ensuite bath and walk-in closet. 2nd bedroom features two twin beds plus a pull-out trundle. Updated kitchen has custom appliances and granite counters. Completely new bathrooms - master bath with large walk-in shower and dual showers; second bathroom with tub and shower. Rear patio with barbecue, dining table, lounge area, and outdoor shower to rinse off beach sand.

The house has both front (walk street) and rear (alley) entries. Private garage provides washer, dryer and secured parking. 2 flat screen TVs, FIOS HDTV, Cable & Wi-Fi. Beach chairs, boogie boards and coolers for your use. Pack and play, stroller and toys available.

The beds are comfortable, the beach is so close, the garage parking for one car is perfect and the host is very nice and communicative. This is the 2nd time I've had family or friends stay here and it is a great spot and comfortable. Close to downtown and food. Wonderful house in a great location. Garage parking was an extra bonus. The owner thoughtfully leaves condiments and some personal care items to make the cottage so welcoming. Excellent outdoor space with endless ocean view.

We were three friends going to an SC football game, and combining it with a few lazy days at Manhattan Beach. We were met with super easy check-in, house being very nice and clean. Location is perfect, and the content and layout of the house is really great for experiencing some South Bay beach life. Thanks for a great stay!

Overall amazing stay! Important to note that there is not air conditioning other than 1 portable unit. We were uncomfortably warm as it was unusually hot while we were there. Hosts were gracious and communicative. The location is spectacular being close to the beach and town. Loved being there :)

Amazing Beach Weekend

Girls trip 2025

My best friend from high school and I decided to take a trip to celebrate our 50th birthday. The house was perfect! Morning coffee or evening wine on the patio with ocean view, sound of crashing waves and the neighbors pond with running water was so relaxing. Close walk to the store, restaurants and shopping. Oceans waves abound!

We had a great stay at this beach neighborhood bungalow. It’s not as big and fancy as some of the neighboring properties but it’s well appointed, clean, and cute and has a great location a few blocks up from the beach. Stay at this house if you want easy access to a quintessential classic manhattan beach home experience.

Lovely Manhattan Beach locale

We had a great stay in Manhattan Beach at this lovely home. Steps from the beach with a beautiful beach view. Very comfortable and clean. we stayed for 2 weeks and me and my husband both had adequate space and privacy when we were working. Loved walking into town and walking to the beach- seconds away from the strand. Jane was very helpful and responsive. We will be back!
