The house was clean and the location was great. We did have one or two issues with the house and the host was very responsive, but unfortunately it took a little bit of time to get the issue resolved. Overall was a great place to stay for our family.
We have stayed at this house twice. If there could be more living room furniture for our family, like a loveseat or better lounge chairs vs. the table top and bar stools that would make this perfect ! Thanks !
We had 14 guys staying in Bourbon 3, and we had a great time, plenty of room, and easy access to the interstate to get to distilleries and to downtown to do the same. Communication with the owner was quick and easy. HIGHLY recommend!
We were very pleased with our stay. The house and furnishings were as stated in the property description. Host provided great guidance and info and was responsive even on a holiday when we had issue with the neighbor taking up the parking spots. There was a fair amount of street noise (house sits on a busy intersection with trucks that regularly barrel by at all times of day/night. Itâs also very close to the airport, so you can hear jets overhead as well). The bedrooms were all well appointed, but we did run out of internet connections so not everyone was able to watch tv in their respective rooms. The weather was cool, so we all had jackets and different pairs of shoes⊠there is no coat closet or shoe rack so it got a little messy with 14 pairs of shoes and jackets. Coat trees or wall hooks near the entry areas would be an easy remedy that the host could add. All that to say - we had a few minor suggestions, but overall - we really enjoyed our stay.
I highly recommend Bourbon House 3. Our group of nine friends spent a week there. We found the accommodations clean, very comfortable, and the design of the house quite efficient. They provided adequate starter soaps, linens, etc. There's a nice outside area with a grill and firepit. Best of all, when we shared a couple of small concerns with the owners we received prompt, friendly service. The house is near the Univ. of Louisville, but not as close to downtown as the description suggests. It was about a 10-minute drive to the Kentucky Convention Center. It is on the flight line for the Louisville airport and there is a lot of air traffic overhead. Overall, Bourbon House 3 was a very positive experience, and I would book it again.
Great house, plenty of room and plenty of places to sleep. Great neighborhood, close to everything you need. Need to add more wifi or at least basic or antenna.
The property manager, Brandon, was a great communicator and the property was exactly as described. The location was pretty central to everything the group wanted to do while in Louisville as well. Everything was extremely clean and tidy, except under the beds. Brandon said he'd have housekeeping work on that in the future. Overall, it was an absolutely great place too stay and I would love to go back if I were in the area.
Overall good experience. Everything was easy enough and the house was in good shape. Corner house on a busy intersection did make it noisy on occasion with a little left to be desired from the neighborhood.
I travel with this group of friends every year and we found our perfect house. Great parking and beautiful private back patio. The layout of this house works great for our large group that loves to eat together. On top of that we had a nice walk to the local Ice Cream shop for a sweet treat. Perfect !
House was immaculate. Well decorated and furnished. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. We went bourbon hunting/tasting during the day and then came back and enjoyed the tables outside with the fire pit at night. My friends liked the Kuerig in the morning. We truly enjoy Louisville, its people and the hospitality. We would stay here again without hesitation.
My family really enjoyed our stay at this property. We were a group of 15 a mix of adults & children, there was plenty of room for us to spread out. The house was located near stores & restaurants. The host was very accommodating. Suggestion: wastecans in bathrooms.
