This extra large one bedroom home offers 2 living areas with 2 queen sized sleeper sofas. The updated kitchen with brand new stainless steel appliances is fully functional for an intimate dinner party. Every room boasts its own flat screen TV. (65 inch in main living area). even the bathroom offers a TV for viewing.
The atmosphere at the home is very relaxed and calm, when setting up the place, I would catch myself sitting at the kitchen bar and staring at the water, mesmerized almost like in a trance. It was so peaceful, I never wanted to leave after being there for awhile.

What a spot to come "home" to after exploring all there is to see in Louisville and Lexington. Thick fog, clear sunshine, the sound of frogs nearby. When you're on the river, it's always changing, always interesting. I would highly recommend this place.

Clean, beautiful space with amazing views! James texted us before our arrival and was very responsive to our questions. Furniture and bed very comfortable and the tv was huge and easy to use with a number of streaming channels immediately available. Nice sound system, good parking. Very relaxing way to spend time and watch traffic on the river as well as the superb sunrise and sunset! The host provided a few great snacks. If you want to cook, you should know there are no spices in the kitchen and the kitchen is perhaps better suited to simple things like pasta or eggs or heating up carryout rather full cooking because there is not a mixer or things like that. But two coffee makers and we really had no complaints whatsoever and may do with what was there to make a pie. We really look forward to the next time that we can stay and see the river, which when you live in Louisville, you don’t get to see that easily. Also at James was available throughout the day for any questions. There were plenty of sheets and blankets and plenty of supplies. We stay in vacation homes a lot and this is one of the best houses!

James was in top of things before we ever got there, checked in to make sure what time we’d be there so the house was ready. Sent us all the info we needed the day prior. The house was great and they had bottled water and snacks in the counter and in the fridge. This was just a weekend away with nothing special planned at all but relaxation. The view of the city and river was amazing from the back porch and from inside the house. We will definitely be back again for the next weekend getaway

The host had the primary features ready every little detail, toiletries, coffee, etc. During our visit in December, KY hit single digit temperatures. The concrete-base / tile flooring were cold and was difficult to bear but the electro fireplace, plus central heating kept everything above nice and cozy. We'll definitely bring slippers next time we come in the winter. This place is amazing with a serene view. Location is great. Highly recommended!

This was our second stay at this house. The views of the river cannot be beat. We saw bald eagles! Beautiful sunsets. Close to downtown and waterfront Park, but also gives you the feeling of being secluded in nature. Highly recommend!

The location was great! Convenient to everything. We ate out as well as used the kitchen, which was adequately stocked for the preparation of about anything you would want to fix. The host was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Everything was neat, clean and tidy upon arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Really nice part of town. The house was clean and the bed was so comfortable. The host provided snack options and water bottles which we enjoyed! Truly an unbelievable view. Our stay at this beautiful river house in Louisville was nothing short of amazing! The location couldn’t have been more convenient — just a quick 20-minute drive to the exposition center, which made attending our event a breeze. Being so close to downtown also gave us the perfect opportunity to explore the city’s vibrant scene, while still having a peaceful retreat to come back to at the end of the day.The house itself was immaculate. Every room was spotless, and it was clear that great care went into maintaining the space. The furnishings were stylish and comfortable, and the large windows offered breathtaking views of the river. Waking up to the calm waters and enjoying coffee on the deck was a highlight of our trip. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, providing a restful night’s sleep.What truly set this experience apart was the owner’s hospitality. They were incredibly responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed and quickly answering any questions we had. Their knowledge of the area was invaluable — from recommending fantastic local restaurants to sharing hidden gems we wouldn’t have found on our own.Whether you’re in town for an event or simply looking for a relaxing getaway, this river house is the perfect choice. I needed a break and this was the place. Loved the beautiful sunset over the river, the lapping of the water heard from the deck. The property manager paid a great deal of attention to the experience. I will consider it for one of my company retreats (a very small company!) in the future.

Overall good experience-

Had a very pleasant stay- wish the weather was better so I could enjoy the back deck and river view. Property was clean, well equipped, decorated and had nice areas to relax in. James is amazing as a property manager-can’t say enough about his speed of response, care for his guests and general hospitality!
