"My family was celebrating our Dad’s 77th birthday. We needed a home that would be large enough to accommodate all of us comfortably. This was the perfect place. It had PLENTY of seating in the main living/dining area, as well as, the outdoor patio area. The kids loved having a room big enough that could hold all their cousins for a big sleepover. The game room was also a hit and the pool was the cherry on top. Plus the beautiful lake view. My father and stepmom both have mobility issues so having the main gathering areas (both inside and outside) on the ground floor was exactly what we needed, plus no steps getting in their bedroom, bathroom, and shower. The kitchen is a cooks dream. The pantry was fully stocked with all the necessities and the owners have truly thought of everything. This place is a hidden gem. "

"We came to Hartwell for a long weekend to see ByWater Call at the High Cotton Music Hall, right down the street, and also celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary. This property is very convenient to the venue and to the restaurants we ate at. It’s a neat place, lights, fan, and sound machine were on upon arrival which was welcoming (no windows in this unit so it is pitch black without lights on). We had a bit of an issue with not much toilet paper and a missing TV remote. Both were taken care of promptly after notifying management. We also ran out of body wash in the dispenser (mid-shower) which wasn’t noticed until after management was contacted about the other issues. We were not going to be there much longer so we didn’t bother saying anything. For the most part the place was clean however the wash cloths looked like someone had cleaned the floors with them. You could tell they had been laundered but looked nasty and the towels were stained as well. We would definitely consider staying here again due to the proximity to the things we go to Hartwell for. "

"This was unlike any location I have ever stayed. We really enjoyed it. It was one of the quietest locations, except for sounds of nature, I have ever been. Our dogs LOVED it. We hiked, grilled out, hung out at the lake and chilled by the fire. The tiny home was perfect. The host was responsive to all my questions. This is in the description but the cell service is extremely spotty. If you need to be online, this might not be the place for you. "
