This cozy little hotel has the best staff and it feels like you are staying with family. They are all so lovely and will help you with anything you need. Rooms are clean, restaurant has good food that is also reasonably priced. Also a good view of the nile River. The only one small critique I have is that they do not offer wifi for guests. We stayed there over Christmas season and couldn’t FaceTime/ video call our family back home due to lack of wifi. It also made booking tours and contacting people for pick up more challenging. I know wifi isn’t everything, but even having an option to pay for it would have been nice. Overall, excellent stay. Would return!

The hotel and staff were amazing, and super friendly. Getting to the hotel is very easy taking the ferry, no taxis. The breakfast was decent. The pool is great! I will come back to this hotel

Hotel is located in the West Bank, very convenient to visit Valley of the Kings. The owners were very welcoming and made us feel safe! The Hotel is very clean and the restaurant have an amazing view of the River and the city of Luxor, food in the restaurant it was very good and clean. Breakfast was good and the staff was very good

There was nothing that we didn’t like. The room was a little dated but comfortable. Our shower was very small, but my dads room had a giant walk-in shower. The balcony overlooked the pool and the Nile. The restaurant food was great and inexpensive. (Our average meal for 2 people was under $20 for all.). The breakfast buffet was yummy as well. The staff was great and friendly.

A wonderful place to stay

We loved our stay at this hotel. Reasons: The staff from the two owners, the manager, all the resteraunt staff and domestic staff were kind, helpful and efficient The breakfast was excellent and the rooftop terrace had spectacular views across The Nile to Luxor The cost was modest considering the facilities eg lovely pool I cannot recommend it highly enough

We upgraded our room to the best new room on the top most 4th floor by paying extra per night. The room was spacious with a separate sitting area by the balcony and the view was great, although the amenities and toiletries were very inadequate. No free water and very poor internet connection.

As soon as we arrived we felt like part of the family. Harmada and Karin (spelling?) are the nicest couple you could hope to meet and their staff are a credit to them. The hotel is ideally located right by the ferry so Luxor temple and the museum are just a boat ride away. This is a great base for the west bank tomes and the east bank temples. Good food and great price accommodation definitely make it worth a look. The suprise birthday cake really made our stay special.

I stayed at the Nile Valley Hotel for three nights. It's located on the west bank, so it's closer to the Valley of the Kings/Queens/Nobles, but it's farther away from the majority of restaurants, the airport/train station, museums, Karnak, and Luxor Temple. However, the ferry port is just a short walk away from the hotel and getting across the Nile is cheap and easy. The staff was friendly and the room amenities/cleanliness was decent, about what you'd expect for the price. Overall, I was happy with my stay at the Nile Valley Hotel.
