Great country hotel!

Wonderful stay! A nice surprise. Easy to find. On site, easy parking. Good restaurant. In the country with lovely views. Quiet, peaceful residential area of Lyon. Spacious, clean rooms with comfy beds and large shower. Helpful, friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Out of town and functional

This is, I am guessing, mainly a conference hotel. Its great location is just out of town and benefits from its massive grounds. The room we were allocated was adequate if a little spartan. The wet room is a pre built cubicle but everything worked well. There is a Lidl nearby. All the staff were polite and super helpful. We chose this hotel as we had a day in Lyon but we’re moving on early next day. Perfect.

Bathroom disappointing

The location was beautiful and the hotel was great. The bathroom was another story! I was prefabricated and it was all plastic. While you are taking showers the motion sensor lights would turn off. I was disappointed in the bathroom alone.

Not as pet friendly as was claimed. While the front desk was very accommodating, the restaurant staff was not. We asked about bringing our small dog when making a reservation. They agreed but when we got there they were rude about it. It was the same person we made the reservation with!!!! It really didn’t make any sense. We would have gone somewhere else if they had said no right from the beginning. I may have thought there was a misunderstanding but since we talked to the same person both times I’m not sure what the problem was. The grounds are beautiful and the area is quiet at night.

Je fais des hôtels dans le cadre professionnel depuis plus de 20 ans et c'est la première fois que je suis aussi mal reçu. A l'accueil il y avait une dame, je lui ai dit que j'avais une chambre pour une nuit, son premier mot a été : "Patientez !".. Elle est partis pendant près de 10 minutes car une voiture mal garée devant l'hôtel était apparemment plus important que l'accueil d'un client un soir après un long voyage.. Elle avait un ton exécrable, c'est extrêmement désagréable de se faire accueillir de cette manière. L'hôtel est au coeur d'un domaine superbe, la chambre est correct même si la literie n'est pas terrible. Le must est la salle de bain en préfabriqué tout en plastique avec un rideau de douche en tissu n'est vraiment pas digne d'un établissement comme celui ci. La chasse d'eau était cassée, le joint des toilettes suspendues menaçait de lâcher.. Il y a clairement un manque d'entretien. Je suis rentré tard et le matin j'ai été réveillé par une alarme incendie à 8h du matin qui a réveillé tout l'hôtel (encore une première fois..) Quand à la dame brune de l'accueil je lui conseille fortement de changer de métier, j'espère que la direction fera le nécessaire. Une chose est sûre, je ne suis pas prêt de revenir.

Nous avons passée un très bon séjour. La chambre est bien aménagée, nous avions une vue sur le jardin, tres belle. Le lit était grand et confortable. La salle de bain était fonctionnelle mais un peu vieillote. Le personnel était au petits soins, le petit-déjeuner très complet, avec des produits sans gluten. Et la cadre est splendide.
