Many of the single family home owners are here full time making for a friendly feel around the cove. Cedar Creek Lake is the 5th largest lake in Texas. Excellent fishing, boating, 4th of July Air Show, and lots of shops including First Monday Canton Trade Days just 30 minutes away.

The marina and Vernon's are popular waterfront restaurants accessible by boat. Our location is just a few minutes to Walmart, Brookshire's and local restaurants.

There are no mobile homes in our neighborhood. This might sound like a weird thing to say, but many areas of the lake are surrounded by mobile homes-we are not one of them.

Amazing Property

This property gets nothing but 5 Star reviews for a reason. The property was exactly what is promised, the communication with Melissa leading up to the stay was top notch, and the home itself was so comfortable and had plenty of room for our huge family to spread out. One of the things that I loved the most was the cove that the property is on which is perfect for swimming. We brought our boat and it was super easy to get it on and off. We all wish we had a few more days there!

Our group of 12 adults had a great weekend. The house was spacious enough for all of us and had lots of gathering spaces - living room, eat-in kitchen, game room, back porch, fire pit, and dock. The house was very clean and well maintained. We would definitely rent this property again.

So peaceful!

The house was perfect for our adult church group of 14! Everyone had a place at the big table. We enjoyed games, the fire pit, beautiful sunset! A really bad storm came through Saturday night and the host sent me a message about the warning she received on her phone and told us the safest place in the house. And she was on her 25th anniversary trip in Hawaii! Everyone of our group said I hit it out of the park with the house!

Extended Family retreat and Birthday

Perfect place to host an event with Family flying in from other parts of the USA. October is a great month in Texas to experience outdoor family fun with many activities to do around the house. The house provides ample sitting areas for folks to have conversations and enjoy family time. We had 12 people with different t ages and able to find plenty of places for folks to sleep. Lake level was down so didn’t bring boat or kayaks. The views are fantastic and the host is very accommodating.

Great weekend get away

We loved spending time with family and friends here. The property is beautiful with lots of space for people of different ages to engage in fun activities. The view of the lake is beautiful. The only issue we had was spiders inside and spider webs outside the property. The property can use some pest control for sure.

Fantastic family weekend

This was the perfect place for our family of 14 to have a fabulous, fun-filled weekend! The house is so spacious that everyone felt comfortable and was well furnished! We loved the large table where our family shared many meals together. The host answered our questions in a timely manner and check-in was easy. Even though the lake was down due to drought our family enjoyed the lake with kayaks and lily pad! This accommodation is truly a five star property! I would highly recommend to everyone!

Great rental property!

The house is large, very clean inside, well-stocked with linens/towels/everything kitchen, and has AMAZING VIEWS of the lake. There were 12 of us and we had ample room to spread out. Groceries, liquor store, and other necessary amenities are nearby. The owners were easy to reach and very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Lovely Lake House

This house was perfect for my family's summer reunion. I've rented vacation homes over years and have never found one as clean as this one. It had all the amenities we needed, and it's location was perfect, well protected from rough water. The owners were friendly and always responded promptly. I would definitely stay here again.

Best house on Cedar Creek!

This house has stunning views is very clean and has all the amenities you could ask for. We stayed over the Fourth of July weekend and there was plenty of room for multiple adults to spread out and enjoy our time. The game room has a great pool table and shuffleboard! Beds were very comfortable and the A/C worked great (which was important as the temps were over 100 outside). Will definitely rent again.

Best cousin Camp Yet

This is the 10th cousin camp and unanimously voted best cabin yet. easy access, good location for all needs, Beautifully decorated, well maintained, ample provisions for all out needs, boats, kayaks, lily pad, fishing pier. Inside all sat together at one table, game tables, ample chairs and seating for relaxation inside and out, good sleeping arrangements. Overall excellent choice for any family gathering. Tony and Melissa were extremely willing to help and very quick to respond to any concern.

Awesome home with an awesome location

We had a family get together with our kids / spouses and grandkids. Everyone loved this home! It is perfect and the owners are so great! Best VRBO Experience Ever

I can’t say enough great love things about our stay. Melissa was very communicative from the moment I inquired about their property. She went above and beyond with recommendations and to answer our questions. We stayed for Easter and were delighted that the and the place was decorated for the holiday with candy and an Easter basket of goodies as well for the kids. The house is well equipped and decorated in great taste. The pictures don’t do it justice. We rented their boat and had the best time tubing and checking out the other lake homes. I hope to stay again and highly recommend this beautiful home with the most hospitable hosts we’ve ever encountered.

Beautiful and peaceful property!

We really enjoyed our stay here. There was plenty of space, as we had a group of 18 and the house was fully stocked with everything we need. Clean, peaceful and right on the lack. Great host communication as well, they were very accommodating and responded quickly to any questions.
