Checked into our room, and after unloading everything we discovered the lack of housekeeping! The floors were dirty black. I complained to front desk and he gave me a mop, still black! I asked for cleaner and rags, still black! FD offered to move me into another room but after I inspected it, it had filthy floors as well! I ended up going to Family Dollar and spending $30 in cleaner to get the flooring clean. The hotel is extremely dated! It smelled moldy and the sofa needs to go to a landfill as it smelled horrible! I am pretty generous with leaving housekeeping a tip if the room is clean but not this time! They need to properly train there staff or hire new ones….

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. If I could give it ZERO stars I would. Blankets are thin, requested extra and none given. There is a broken window, the security lock on the door is broken, the mattresses are old, and extremely uncomfortable, the air conditioner doesn’t not work, only the fan. There is very poor lighting, no light attached to a light switch. The tv takes 5 mins to come on, there is no microwave in the room. The pool annd the hot tub anppear dirty, I would not go in. And the free breakfast is coffee and a prepackaged muffin. I am not hard to please, but this has been the worst!! This place needs to be shut down permanently .

Room was poorly designed, poor caulking around tub, whirlpool tub too big trip hazard, no microwave, door locks not secured properly, on 3rd night all electricity went out for the entire night (thankfully we were transferred to a better hotel).

Below average but good location

No breakfast, the facility definitely needs some work, bathroom door was difficult to close, friendly staff. I would not choose this place again.

I sent you an email. Asked for the 60.00 it cost to go have breakfast some where else. It was not as advertised, very disappointed. No breakfast. Coffee wasnt made, prepackaged muffins also not ready are not breakfast. So i paid extra for a breakfast not offered. Paid for 4 guest ecerything but the number of water glasses was set up for 2 guest. wE had to fo ask for towels, wash clothes etc.. Not a happy guest Joan Rexford

Would stay again

Good experience looking for a reasonable price, close to boats for Mackinaw island. Had bonfire, pet friendly, walking distance to everything. Bldg was a little dated but room looks like it had some updates.

Management has given up on this property. Very dirty. There was a used feminine napkin and someone's sandwich from the day before laying on the stairs to 2nd floor. Lots of litter all over the parking area and walks. First room I was given was not cleaned or made up at all. 2nd room: the AC unit was not working. It just made a lot of noise and hot air. No screen on the rear balcony door. The door had recently been forced open so the jam and door trim were all busted up. Coffee and a processed muffin was the breakfast. Overall, it is a dump.

Room was fine, when needed a first floor room, we did get it but door had gap, you could see outside. AC didn't cool well at all. Room was musty smelling, could have been the heat and humid weather.

Clean and comfortable

Front desk was so pleasant and nice! Room was clean, bathroom was dark and out dated, but the rest of the room has been upgraded and beds were comfortable. Free breakfast was only a muffin and coffee or tea, so that was a little disappointing. Overall very happy with our stay.
