A personalized Welcome card, along with a complimentary Publix gift card for last-minute items, will be waiting for you. A few bottles of water and a bottle of wine or champagne will also be ready on the Blue Island kitchen counter for your arrival.

Welcome to Blue Island at Marathon! We want you and your family to have an amazing, relaxing, and memorable stay. To help us maintain the home and ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone, please review and follow these house rules.


📍 General Information

Check-In: After 4:00 PM

Check-Out: By 10:00 AM

Occupancy: Comfortably accommodates up to 12 people plus children and teens.


🚭 No Smoking Indoors

Smoking, vaping, and the use of any tobacco or cannabis products are strictly prohibited inside the home.

Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas. Please dispose of cigarette butts and smoking materials responsibly.


🔇 Noise & Quiet Hours

Please be respectful of our neighbors and the surrounding community.

Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• No loud music, parties, or excessive noise.

• Outdoor music and conversations should remain at a reasonable volume at all times.

🐾 Pets

While we love animals, pets are not permitted at Blue Island at Marathon.

This policy is required by our property insurance and helps us maintain the home in excellent condition for everyone staying here.
We also strive to maintain a pet-free environment for guests with allergies. Because of this, we’re unable to make exceptions or accept an additional pet fee.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

🧹 Care of the Property

Please treat our home with the same care you would your own.

• Report any damage, maintenance concerns, or accidents immediately.

• Please leave the home in reasonably tidy condition upon departure.

🏊 Pool & Spa Rules

Use of the pool, spa, dock, kayaks, and all water-related amenities is at your own risk.

For safety:

• No glass containers in the pool or spa area.

• Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

• No running or diving around the pool deck.

Heated Spa Hours

5:00 PM – 10:30 PM

If you would like the spa schedule adjusted, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

🚤 Dock, Kayaks & Water Activities

You are welcome to enjoy the private 75-foot dock and complimentary kayaks.

• Use all water equipment at your own risk.

• Life jackets are provided and should be worn while kayaking.

• Please rinse and return equipment after use.

! Important Boating Information:
Private 75-ft dock with direct Atlantic access. Canal conditions, including water depth, tides, navigability, and seasonal sargassum, are natural conditions that may vary throughout the year.
Guests bringing a boat are encouraged to check current tide conditions using the "Tides Near Me" app.

⚠️ Safety & Security

For your safety and the security of the property:

• Always lock doors and windows when leaving the home.

• Exterior security cameras are located at the front entrance and outdoor areas and are used solely for security purposes.

• No fireworks, sparklers, or open flames are permitted on the property.

🎉 Gatherings & Special Events

Celebrations, gatherings, and special events may be permitted with prior approval through the booking platform.

Additional fees may apply depending on the size and nature of the event.
