Love the hotel's ambience and excellent customer service. However, breakfast was not worth it. Next time I would skip breakfast as there are shops in the vicinity to grab fruits and pastries. Also, Marseille is now generally unsafe with pick pockets in the alleyway which abott the hotel and all other hotels in the vicinity. The cab driver warned us to avoid them in the evenings. When we got back from Nice at about 8pm, one of the conductors adviced us to get an uber instead of risking the metro which was a floor below so as not to get robbed. Even during the day they are all over.

A terrible stay without electricity

We stayed for 4 nights. First, the maid forgot to prepare bed for our daughter. 2nd, the staircases to upper bedroom is very steep. Carry the suitecase up is difficult. During night, came down in the dark for bathroom is dangrouse. 3rd, no counter space around basin and in shower. 4th, the coffee maker and the ketle don't work. On the 3rd day, we used dishwasher and the electricity went out for the apartment. My husband walked to hotel for help. We waited in the dark for quite a while for the hotel staff to come. She could not fix the issue. So she went beck to the hotel to get the keys for the apartment next door. We had to move to the next door with essential items for the night. The next day noon time, the electricity was not fixed so we had to move everything to next door. Wasted our preciouse time. The apartment we moved to is much smaller than the one I booked.

A reasonable place to stay. The staff made everything better. They were definitely 5 star. The breakfast was not great - what I would call minimal. I would likely not stay there next time due to outside noise and lack of amenities.

Great staff esp. Louisa - Le Chef! Family feel hotel which I like even as a single foreign traveler. Close to many sites if you stay here take the ferry to legendary Chateau d'If.

Wonderful hotel

This hotel is right next to the Vieux Porte. Reception staff are very friendly with a hello and smile. They are knowledgeable as guides to Marseille. Rooms are quiet, modern and well appointed. Breakfast is wonderful served in a beautiful front room. Available for relaxing during your stay.

Excellent choice for a sty in Marseilles - close to restaurants and the marina. We had a two bedroom apartment that was huge with all the amenities - even a washer/dryer. Loved this hotel!

The decor was very attractive. I did not. Like having to walk up for steps to get to the room. There were not enough charging outlets in the room for our devices. There were no wash clothes in the room. The room was too small.
