Excellent stay right in the heart of Marseille. We stayed in the suites/apartment style room and it was the best of both worlds of a hotel and an apartment. You have cleaning service and all the space and amenities of a 1 bedroom apartment. The style was gorgeous and the space was perfect. Would stay here again for sure!

Very friendly staff, eager to make your stay as good as possible. Nearly all of the staff spoke English very well, which was a great help. There's an excellent system for ordering your breakfast in your room by which you can pick your choices and set the time for delivery, but the breakfast room is lovely. Lovely, stylish decor , its always nice to walk back into the beautiful entrance room after a day out. The location is exceptional. Stunning views of the old port. You're in the perfect spot to discover the port, the shops and restaurants, and just a short walk to Le Panier (the old part of town). Be aware that the port is bustling and noisy but the windows cut out a lot of the noise.

Great location

The location was great, very close to the Old Port and easily walkable for the tours we took. Reception was very helpful and friendly, with tips about a local bakery and shop. It was a bit warm, but maybe we didn’t figure out the air conditioning. I found the pillows hard. Having a washer was really handy in the hot weather.

Very nice hotel and extremely nice and helpful staff. Overall great place and would stay there again. Yes, its right in the heart of Vieux Port and there is some noise at night (really not bad at all), but overall when you balance location, amenities and vibrancy of Marseilles its very acceptable.

Tres bien wonderful stay in Maisons du Monde suites beautiful suite plenty of room, great decor design and felt like a home not just a hotel room. Well equipped to make your own good, amazing mattress I have never slept so well! The locality perfectly placed to access all modes of public transport. We stayed at one of the apartments through Maisons Du Monde. It was a great location and easy to get around. Once we checked in at the main hotel, they walked with us and transported our luggage to the apartment building. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to answer questions. We definitely recommend Maison du Monde.

Very nice hotel in Marseille

Very nice hotel with a very friendly staff. Perfectly located in the vieux port (old port) of Marseille. The room was small but very clean and in very good condition. Air conditioned room (temperatures reached ~95 degrees F every day during our stay). No parking on site but plenty of nearby parking. I parked at the "Charles De Gaulle" parking lot for ~120 euros for the whole week.
