Good evening… I’ve been a customer of Expedia for quite some time now. Tonight was an absolute nightmare. I received an email asking if I wanted an early check in which I accepted. Upon arrival we found a large congregation of military personnel in lobby. No biggie unless we don’t have a room… Welp!!! We didn’t have a room available. I spoke to manager about checking in early via email portal & he said “I apologize but we don’t control that level of communication from a third party entity.” They checked for availability @ 9:45pm as my two children & wife were frustrated to say the least. It took roughly (45)min to locate, clean & prepare a room which provided a solution to the situation. But it’s the principle behind this process… No, no, no this is not acceptable to offer early check in but then upon arrival habe no rooms available.
