Amazing experience! Probably the best money I've ever spent on a hotel. Got lucky and was given a corner room with floor to ceiling windows wrapped around the sides, absolutely beautiful room. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Door locked us out with our things inside had to get locksmith. Staff was a class act! Meal and wine while we waited. New ownership is excellent but were still working out the transition bugs in Feb.

The only thing we don’t like about this place is there is not enough parking. I read about it before we went and asked the girl upon checking in. She said if we had to we can park on the sidewalk across the street with the parking pass in the window. Good thing I asked because sure enough, that’s what we had to do. If that one spot wasn’t available I don’t know what we would have done. The beds were very comfy as were the pillows.

It was a decent location for a decent price. I don't understand how Kompose has such high ratings though. My room was clean, but there were a lot of functional issues. I couldn't use the blinds in my room, they were crooked and stuck. The walls were very thin, and without any carpets or noise-dampening curtains, etc. I had to hear the neighboring hotel room having a "great time" all night. The shower was clean, but awfully designed and the water had to be positioned just right to get warm water and not boiling hot or freezing cold. There was also very little water pressure. Also, the hotel breakfast ($12) was not good -- eggs were watery, and sausage was undercooked. All in all, I've stayed in hostels that were designed better than this hotel. It was very clean, so that's why they got 3 stars instead of 1.

Not the best experience! We got in late due to flight issues. My family and I decided to stay in due to being so late. Carlos, the bartender, was so kind and helpful. However, the restaurant was understaffed. It took over 40 minutes to get our food AND we didn't receive it all! Also, we were overcharged. A man at the bar threatened Carlos due to his card being denied. Carlos handled it well. No one ever called the police nor management ever show up. Food was very good but the wait was awful. Our room had only 2 towels for a double room. The front desk told me they had more towels, but I need to come get them. The hotel told me months ago that a shuttle wss available. When i called from the airport, i was told no transportation was available. Then, after finding my reservation, they said a Lyft would be provided. We truly were looking forward to our stay here at Kompose. This was not a great experience for us.
