This property used to be part of the old apartments in Miami Beach that was converted into a hotel. This is maybe the cleanest hotel I’ve been in a long time. The lobby service was superb. I suggest take the valet. Collins Ave is just 1/2 block away and Lincoln Road just 4 blocks away. You can enjoy Miami Beach at it fullest and still have a relaxing staying at this hotel.

An Unforgettable Stay at UMA House in Miami Beach

My stay at UMA House in Miami Beach was absolutely fantastic! The hotel is stunning—modern, impeccably clean, and exudes stylish elegance throughout. My room was not only spotless but also tastefully decorated, creating a perfect blend of relaxation and luxury. The rooftop pool and bar were definite highlights—simply breathtaking and ideal for unwinding after a day of meetings. I must give a special shoutout to the incredible staff—Dianelis, Denny, Dario, and Liz—who were exceptionally attentive and welcoming from the moment I arrived. Their hospitality truly made me feel at home. The location couldn't have been better, especially for business travelers. Being within walking distance of the Miami Beach Convention Center was incredibly convenient. After work, I enjoyed leisurely strolls to the beach and dinners along Lincoln Road and Collins Avenue—everything I needed was just steps away. I highly recommend UMA House to anyone visiting Miami Beach, whether for business or pleasure. It exceeded my expectations in every way!

The room we had (240 I think?) Was fine for a single person on a work trip. My partner and I travel together for work and it was way too small, especially for a 5 day work trip. The staff were lovely, and the pool area is great. Bed's were comfortable. Dark red headboards in a tiny room was an odd choice, and finding anywhere to put things like toiletries was impossible - but the part I really didn't like was that there were no security measures between our hotel room door and the street. Anyone could have just walked up to our door at any time. There were security doors for the interior rooms opened by key but there didn't seem to be any consideration for the rooms outside of those doors. It didn't feel safe and I was uncomfortable. For that reason I wouldn't stay again.

Property was great. We had a room on the 1st floor near the reception and it was a bit loud with public bathrooms across the hall and the hard surface floor. Rest of our experience was great, including coming back to store luggage during the day before our flight.

We really enjoyed our stay at Uma! The staff were friendly and helpful, the location is excellent for South Beach, and the room was spacious and complete. We would stay there again. The only negative is that the hotel is actually two entirely separate buildings, so you will find yourself having to go out onto the (rather filthy) street in your bathing suit every time to go to the pool if you end up with a room in the other building. And there's no perfect building b/c if you're in the 'pool-building' there is no front desk so you have to go to the other for all of that. They should have designed a connection between the building. Not glamorous.

Stayed after a cruise and enjoyed the beach access while our room was being prepared before check-in, also the welcome champagne. The front desk was very helpful in recommendations for dinner and other sights around Miami beach. The hotel was beautiful, my wife and I will definitely stay here again if we get the chance.
