Nice downtown option

This was a very nice place. It's neither a high-end nor low-end neighborhood, but somewhere in the middle, and very nicely located for pretty much anything you want to do in Miami... We did South Beach, Wynwood, Design District, Little Havana, the Everglades and more, and everything was close by... The major highways are very close but you don't hear them... The one thing I'd warn for parents with small children is the third bedroom is reached by a doorway around the corner of the building, with entry through deadbolts and keys, which was fine with our kids, who are nearly adult, but might not work so well if you are counting on three bedrooms with small children. But really a nice place, great little hangout spot, had all the main elements in the kitchen and bathroom, and all inside a closed gate, and the owner was super-responsive with any questions.
