The spice hotel is the perfect spot for 1 night but I wouldn’t stay longer than that. It’s only a 4-5 min walk to the train station which is what makes it a great stop over spot. That being said There are little to no amenities in the room ( we didn’t have hand soap at the sink only a body wash and an intimate area wash ) the shower has no barrier from getting water absolutely all over the bathroom and the room was pretty loud to outside it sounded like our window was open.

Had a problem with the balcony door that they couldn’t fix so the manager Alyssa arranged for a replacement room quickly and without hesitation

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights 5/14 - 5/17. Once we checked in, we found out that the air conditioning was not working. The rooms are dark, it was humid. The hotel did not do anything about it after letting them know for 2 hours. We went down again in person to ask them to change the room. It seems like the front desk don’t want to address issues or discomfort of the guests. They said there were no rooms until the third day of our stay. They gave us a fan for the night. The fan did not help at all. We were up most of the night unable to sleep from the heat and humidity. The next day we went sight seeing in Milan. While we were away, they changed our room, moved all our things without notifying us or us being present. We asked for compensation or discount for our discomfort. A nice hotel would offer it without asking! They gave us a free breakfast for two. We asked the front desk to talk to the manager and see what they can do. They came back with the reply that the manager said that the breakfast was all they will do. There was no sympathy or the comfort of the guests in mind. If there was a lower grading, I would choose it for rating this hotel. The ONLY positive point about this hotel is that they are walking distance from the Milan Centrale train station.

It was about 100 meters from the train station and even closer to the subway entrance. The room was very basic but met all our needs. The staff was very friendly.

Great location near the train station. One of our excursions to Lake Como was 5 minutes away. Restaurant next door was excellent and convenient. Staff was very friendly and spoke good English. Great check-in.

Overall this hotel was good. Great staff and convenient location. The only issue was no hot water for the first night. Quite surprised it happened in a hotel.

The hotel seemed to have been renovated, the facilities in general were very good. The only negative thing I could share about the hotel is the lack of direct light, a little dark for my taste and for a couple of days there was no hot water in my room. However, I would still highly recommend it if you are traveling to different cities or towns, as it is conveniently located 100 meters from Milan's central station.

Close to station not for me

I stayed at this hotel recently and was quite disappointed. My room was located near the street, and the noise levels were very high, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. Additionally, the bed sheets were not clean, which raised concerns about overall hygiene.
