Lovingly restored, this beautifully decorated circa 1890 home retains many of its original features, yet has the added conveniences you have come to expect while on vacation. Amenities include central A/C, microwave, dishwasher, laundry room with washer and dryer, large flat screen TV, and Internet. The first floor is open and welcoming, with several areas to sit and relax. All bedrooms are upstairs, including the master "tower room" with a king size bed, high ceiling and 6 tall windows to optimize the view. The grand wrap around porch is perfect for dining outside or just sipping a cool drink while watching the sunset over the ocean. There is a large backyard, a gas grill, and a hot outdoor shower with a private changing room. The location is perfect for an easy walk to the beach, playground, convenience store, bakery, or even an evening treat at the local ice cream shoppe. The house has everything you need for a memorable vacation experience!

This beautiful home in a terrific location was even better than advertised on VRBO. Well maintained and cared for inside and out, the property was a delight in every respect. The communication from the owners, Deb and Joe, was terrific. Check-in and check-out instructions were delivered in a timely fashion and were not at all challenging or difficult. The location right across the street from Monument Beach and Marina made for an easy walk to the water. There were numerous dining and drinking options within 15-30 minutes of the property, as well as a Market Basket. The best feature of the home was the wonderful wrap-around porch which provided water views and the comfort of an ocean breeze from every angle. A close second was the awesome “tower bedroom” with a king-size, adjustable bed and floor to ceiling windows with beautiful water views as well. The weather cooperated during our week long stay over Independence Day and we could not have asked for anything more. Thanks so much, Deb and Joe for the opportunity and privilege of enjoying your beautiful home!

Wonderful house!

We had a great vacation here! Beach was perfect-very short walk across the street. The little village is great with a bakery and ice cream shop within walking distance that my teens loved. The house is charming and unique and was just perfect for our family! Thabk you!

A great week

Our family of 6 had a great week. Check in was easy and the house was very nice. The proximity to the beach was by far the best aspect for us. The adults and teens could walk back and forth from the beach to the house as we pleased, the flexibility was amazing.

Wonderful house

Spent an entire week with extended family here - Adults and kids of all ages. It was a wonderful house with an even better location. Everyone was very comfortable in the house, and really enjoyed the large outdoor wrap around deck. Loved having the beach across the street for easy use, and convenience stores around the corner. Highly recommend to all; would definitely stay here again!

Close to Beach!

Nice property and close to Monument Beach which is a nice small walkable beach with a marina. Also close to a convenience store, ice cream store, and bar. The Lobster Trap is a walkable mile away with sidewalks the entire route, The Chart Room is a couple of miles away by car.

Wonderful 3 day fall getaway

We loved the house! It was in great condition —a combination of old and beautifully renovated. The views from the master and the wraparound porch were fantastic and the neighborhood was very nice— it felt like old Cape Cod!

Wonderful cape house

We had a great time at this rental. There were plenty of nooks and hiding places for my kids to play hide and seek. There was also a great wooden train set in the parlor to keep the kids occupied for hours. It was also large enough for my family to spread out and not be on top of everyone. The location of this house was a wonderful jumping off point for all of our cape adventures and within walking distance to a beach and playground. My family had a wonderful vacation at this house. 10/10

The house was comfortable, interesting, and functional with good sleeping quarters and family space. All six adults that stayed overnight were pleased with the house, proximity to the beach, wilderness walking, restaurants, and grocery stores. The property won the most apprehensive among us.
