All the room have carpet which has a mildew smell and feels gross to walk on bare foot. We switch rooms but every room we looked at had a similar situation. Overall the rooms just are aged and not well kept up. The lobby, pool and beach access was nice but the room situation made the stay uncomfortable for us

Beautiful resort but should tell you before booking that construction is being done on building could not sit on terrace because of noise and the beach was being worked on sitting on beach with bulldozers working behind you is not relaxing pay all that money and really could not enjoy amenities

The hotel is very nice, the room is clean and spacious. The pool is beautiful BUT VERY COLD and the hotel is in construction and they didnt tell us before. They start work at 8am SHARP so dont try to get some rest and it lasts the WHOLE DAY so the noise is pretty annoying if you think of taking a nap. So call before to check that the renovation is over and go in VERY hot weather because freezing pool is not nice.

My husband and I had a wonderful time with our 3 kids. The hotel was doing a little renovation (new windows). It didn't bother us at all, the staff was fantastic, and we kept getting little extra perks. They were always checking that our stay was satisfactory, and the construction noise wasn't a bother. We hardly noticed it besides a little noise at the pool one afternoon but that was nothing. Food was great, rooms were clean, tram drivers to the beach were so fun and courteous. Would highly recommend and be back. Excited to see the renovations in a year or so!

The hotel room itself was just alright however the hotel amenities could not be beat. Easy access to the shuttle to take you to the beach was great. The amenity fee includes two lounge chairs at the beach or by the pool. The free self parking was huge. Even though they were in the process of renovating the hotel and it was loud at times I still felt like overall it was a good value.
