Enjoy salt water views from the large front porch, second story living area, deck and the yard of this home on picturesque Great Island. Just 1 mile from Salty Brine Beach, 2 miles from Sand Hill Cove Beach and 3 miles from Scarborough Beach this completely renovated home is ideal for summer fun or quiet spring/fall weekends with the family.

There's plenty of room in our 1650 sq ft home for three couples or two entire families vacationing together. After a day at the beach let the kids run around in the yard on this quiet island yet you are less than a mile from some of the town's best seafood restaurants and the historic fishing port of Galilee where the Block Island Ferry departs.

This is our vacation home which we use regularly, not an investment property. Open floor plan with cathedral ceilings and "upside down" design to take advantage of the views. Meticulously maintained.

What a fabulous place! The Great Island house was perfect for a mini reunion for some old friends from URI. Wonderful, quiet location--yet easy access to the beaches and Block Island ferry and restaurants. The house was spacious, clean and had a lovely coastal-vibe decor! Can't wait for a return visit!

Lovely home on Great Island

Our daughter was married in Galilee RI. We loved the proximity of this home the Galilee Beach Club venue. The house was immaculate and perfect for our needs. The large open living and kitchen was so bright and great views of Great Salt Pond. We loved the artwork all over the home. David is a great host and answered all our questions promptly. I would highly recommend this home . The decks and porches are perfect.

Family Fun-Great Location

Wonderful quiet seaside neighborhood. A three minute drive to great beaches and active working fishing port. Our grandson loved viewing the action there. We were a group of 6 adults and two children under the age of 3. Lovely water views. Beds were comfortable. Needs a little TLC with pillows and kitchen items but overall a great house and location. Beautiful property!

If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing, and comfortable rental, this is the place for you. The house is beautiful with the two outdoor decks, fantastic kitchen/living area (with everything you could need/want), and comfortable bedrooms. Everything was thoughtfully designed and the views are fantastic. Great location! We will be back!

Girl Scout Getaway

I went with my Girl Scout Troop (HS Seniors). The troop has 5 girls and 2 leaders so this house was perfect with a bedroom with 5 twin beds and 2 rooms with queen beds. Beautiful clean home. Responsive owners. The girls loved the 3 season room. Wish there had been more toilet paper provided (we wound up having to go buy more) but not a big deal. Plenty of plates, cups, dishes etc. The location of this house was the BEST. Wonderful area - away from the hustle and bustle of Newport - but close enough to the activities. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again!

Airy and Peaceful

We had a lovely time at this beautiful clean home. The pictures don't do this home justice. It's beautiful, clean and in the perfect location for a relaxing getaway. The host was easy to communicate with and was very accomodating. I've stayed in this area many times and this home has climbed to the top of my list. Can't wait to come back again!

Great island house

The house fit us perfectly. Very quiet location. Decor was beach and location was great. Kitchen looked new and had everything we needed to prepare meals. Only negative was wood floors and ceiling fans needed to be cleaned. Bikes in garage provided a fun experience as we biked across the island.
