Large 5BR Scarborough Beach house!
This spacious 5 bedroom house is just 1/2 mile (10 minute) walk to Scarborough Beach, with added bonus of a neighborhood playground & tennis + basketball courts one block away. You will also be a short drive to other nearby great beaches, like Narragansett, East Matunuck, or even the ferry boat & day trip to Block Island, & many nearby shops, restaurants & bars.
Large yard for lawn games, 2 living rooms, 2 full bathrooms and outdoor shower!

This is a 2500 sq ft Colonial with 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs with a full bath. There is also one bedroom on the 1st floor and a full bath. The house has a large living room and kitchen, and also another small living room attached to the laundry. House has Central A/C, 2 TV`s.

Come enjoy a relaxed vacation with family and friends, grilling and playing games in the yard or exploring Rhode Island`s many beaches and state parks.
We recommend looking at the `Southcountyri .com` website for an abundance of local ideas and information.
-Besides the beaches, you will be less than a mile away from Sunset Farm, where you can shuck your corn while the kids visit the goats, pigs, cows and horses. It’s farm to table at Sunset Farm, with fresh fruits, vegetables, homemade pies, jams, cookies, fresh or smoked meat and other made to order food items.
-You can chose to jump on the ferry for day trips to Block Island, Martha’s Vineyard (even whale watch or fishing trips!)
-If you need a casino fix while you are here, Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun are within a 40 minutes drive.
-Spend an afternoon at Adventureland riding bumper boats, mini-golf, go cart racing, and batting cage!
This beach destination has something for everyone!

*LINENS/TOWELS NOT PROVIDED. Guests are asked to please bring their own linens, OR rent them from a local vendor, such as Vacation house Linens. Their website is: vacationhouselinens .com. Each bed comes with 2 pillows and 1 bedspread, if needed. Plus there are extra blankets in the closets. Each bed has a mattress protector over the mattress, plus pillow protectors over each pillow. There are also hand towels provided in the kitchen and bathrooms.

*No pets/animals allowed. Owners have severe allergies. Thank you.

Guests will have access to the entire house and property. Guests will be assigned a door code for a digital front door lock.

We live in RI year-round and are about 15 minutes away. Should any questions or concerns come up during your stay, we are always available to assist you. You van message us through the app, text, or call.

There is a 4% processing fee on all cancellations. You will receive whatever percentage back that you are entitled to, less a 4% processing fee. over 30 days, you will receive 96% refund. 14-30 days, you will receive 46% refund. This is due to credit card processing fees.

Rhode Island Retreat

This was a long get away weekend for four friends and we had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for everyone having their own space and very central to many activities. We had some incredible beach walks, and loved being so close to the water. Lovely house and neighborhood hosts were very proactive about any needs. We did use the linen delivery service which worked out great. We will visit again!

Lovely home for family time!

Great home for a family getaway! Lots of places to sit - living room, large kitchen table for eating and also playing games, and lots of room to meet in the backyard including a firepit. Easy walk or short drive to the beach. Nice neighborhoods and close beach provided nice walking ways. Owners provided clear and concise information. Thanks so much for allowing us use of your home! Excellent location and plenty of room. We walked to the beach. Owner was accessible. House was well-maintained. Neighborhood was nice and somewhat secluded so traffic was minimal. Small park was literally 3 houses away so it would be great for a young family.

All about location! This is terrific. Walk to beach. Short ride to grocery, restaurants, package store, farm stand, Pt Judith. Lots more. Maybe our most relaxing trip in recent memory.

Roomy beach house

The house was a great place to gather with some family near the beach. Not fancy, but all that we needed. Lots of room with 5 bedrooms. A couple of gripes- Living room furniture was a bit saggy and please fix the light over the stove as there is currently no under counter lighting in the kitchen.

The property was very nice and accommodated us well. We had a wonderful family reunion and enjoyed the location of the house which was close to the beach and in a nice neighborhood. The outdoor space was great! The park was nearby and very nice as well. My two comments would be the kitchen prep area was smaller than expected. We did pay for a late checkout but received a text our last morning that we were to check out at 10 am. , which was unexpected and had us hustling to get everything in proper order. It was resolved but too late for us to enjoy our last morning there.We would very much like to rent this house again next year for the same week.

The property was in a great location and was clean and neat. But, I do have some constructive feedback for host. The furniture and decor was a bit old and worn. The bathrooms were outdated and the shower pressure in the downstairs bathroom was very weak. I did not like that there was no main bedroom with an en suite bathroom. The outside was lovely, but the firepit was really old and used - there were no logs for a fire. I was also disappointed that were no beach chairs. I did bring my own towels, but I assumed there would be some sort of beach chairs for my use.

Great vacation

What a perfect location! Great neighborhood. Easy walk to beach. Large house to fit the grandparents and all the kids. Great to have indoor and outdoor games provided. Wish AC worked upstairs but the nights cooled down to have windows open.

Great beach house

Meg’s house was great for a group of adults as well as several young kids. The kitchen is well-stocked with cooking tools and there are plenty of games; Meg even brought by extra lawn games as well. The living room was big enough to seat all 6 of us (and then some.) The air conditioning works well on the first floor and while it is less strong on the second, we found we didn’t need it even on summer nights. The location is great - walking distance to the beach and park and an easy drive to town. Meg was a great host and always quick to respond.

Wonderful family vacation

Our family had a great week at this house, it fit our family and everything we needed perfectly! The host was very accommodating and so easy to communicate with. She got back to me promptly with any questions/concerns. We all enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to this house again in the future! The location was also super, not a far walk to the beach and so close to the playground and basketball court for the kids! We very much enjoyed our stay at this wonderful house!
