I was stuck here during the blizzard of ‘26. It was fine. The room was hot but the window opened. Being unable to manage the temperature in early menopause is my only complaint. Brooklyn Diner was open and the food was great as well as the bloody Mary!

The good: location, location, location. Staff were friendly The not great: room was small and a little beat up, chipped paint, rug looked dirty. Bed was ok, seemed smaller than the queen we booked. Hot water for the shower was an issue, we took cold showers several times, not ideal when it’s 30 degrees out. Elevators were slow and broken at times, only two small ones for our side of the hotel. 4 stars for the location.

I was charged $500 and accused of smoking in our room. I am not a smoker and there was no smoking at all in my room. Very disappointed to be accused of this with zero evidence or explanation.

Rooms could have been cleaned way better. The mirrors dirty, floors not vacuumed, tooth paste on the bath room vanity . But the worst was elevators.. we got stuck in one , they have 4 but only 2 for guest. It was horrible waiting to actually get on one.
