ABOVE & BEYOND!

We went to NY to visit Memorial Sloan Kettering for my boyfriend that has Stage 4 cancer. The travel was really rough on him. I called the hotel when we landed to see if we can get an early check in bc he desperately needed to lay down and rest. Carlos was extremely helpful, I was overwhelmed by his ability to accomodate us that I had to hold my tears in. When life challenges you to this level, the world needs more people like Carlos. Thank you again!!

Perfect for 5 nights in Manhattan

Family trip to NYC. The accommodations were very clean with daily room cleaning. Close to many sights and the subway. The building is older and located in the heart of manhattan, so it’s a bit noisy. The elevators are smaller and the steps are steep. We thought the price, the service, the location next to the subway and several restaurants, and the historic charm of the hotel all made this the perfect choice for our group of three adults.

Perfect location for theatre district

I wish I’d discovered this place years ago rather than wasting money on hotels where you can’t even get a coffee without paying ludicrous room service charges. The mini kitchen had everything you could need (including a corkscrew). And the front desk staff were without exception exemplary in their friendliness and professionalism. I’ll definitely be back.

I was attending an exhibition at MOMA so this hotel was perfect for me as far as proximity to the museum and transport to the airports. The hotel is in a well maintained vintage building surrounded by many different eating options in addition to having a great restaurant on it's premises, inthe room you have a microwave, fridge and dishes. One thing to note, because of it's proximity to times square, it can be a little noisy at night.. The icing on top is that the front desk personel are pleasant and professional. I will definitely stay at this property again.

It's a beautifully preserved historic building, and having the kitchen and laundry facilities was convenient. But what really stood out was the atmosphere – you could almost feel the history in the walls. It just had this calm, charming character that made the whole place feel special and welcoming. And the great, professional staff!
