My daughter wanted to come to New York City for her 12th birthday, so we took the train up and stayed overnight.
We got in early and went to the hotel to see if they’d hold our bags. Before even starting up the steps a staff member greeted us, warmly. He took our bags up the stairs and inside for us.
A room was ready and we were able to check in early, and they upgraded our room at no charge. Check in was easy and hospitable.
Our room was on the 8th floor, and I always appreciate a hotel that has real keys—as opposed to key cards, a nice touch in my opinion.
The room itself was clean, well decorated, and quite large for rooms in NYC. We did not use the kitchen, other than the fridge.
The restroom had plenty of toilet paper, towels, and soaps to use. Beds were comfortable and there were extra blankets just in case it was cold.
The hotel’s location was convenient as well. Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Broadway, Central Park were all nearby.
I’d stay here again on a future trip and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in NYC.
