The good: Everything about our stay and the facility were top notch. The room was spacious and comfortable. The pillows and bedding were quality. The room controls were easy to understand.
The weird: the hotel is understaffed. The restaurants are staffed, but the hotel itself seems to have one person watching over the self-service sign in kiosks. Our phone seemed to have an alarm that went off at 1AM with no way to stop it. A call to "the front desk" didn't make it seem like the person on the utter end if the phone was familiar with the property or the equipment in the rooms. The alarm stopped while we were on the phone, so I'd like to think he played a part in stopping it, and he did offer to change our room if it started again.
The ugly: the App and other "digital" amenities were a complete failure. Signing up for an account ever in a "500 server error. Tech support has been notified" with no way for ME to reach tech support. I signed up using a second email address, with the same 500 error.
When trying to sign in to the account, it said the account was not active because we didn't click a link in our email, but the email was never sent, to either account. Account. When we went to try to reset our passwords, same thing an alleged email was sent but never arrived. (I run my own mail servers so I was able to see the logs that nothing came in, etc)
So that part of the experience was very lacking, but I also assume temporary.
We look forward to our next stay
