Convenient location and able to get around quickly around the city. Unfortunately we had the worst experience with our linen. It appeared dirty and disgusting. When we asked for new sheets we were told they were clean but were old hence the dinginess of it. Replacements were given and those had a different stain on them as well. Disappointed as this has been our go to hotel

Now is not the ideal time to stay here

Hotel was overcrowded with college students in town for concerts. Hotel lobby was so crowded, you could hardly walk. Trying to get an elevator to go up to room required 10-15 minutes. You cant use your mandatory $35 hotel fee at starbucks because it was so crowded plus with the all the construction.you have to use side entrance on 53rd, no entrance or exit off of 7th....not fun, not pleasant plus the constant smell.of pot in the hallway makes this not worth the price....double beds are really small and mattresses too soft.....this just isnt the time to stay here

By far, the worst elevator system I've ever experienced. Depending on the floor, there are about 5-7 elevators. However, the system that allocates (when it works) seems to choose the same elevator for everyone. As a result, we sometimes waited 20 minutes for an elevator, only to have it not go anywhere because everyone was getting on the same elevator from multiple floors so it ends up being overweight (resulting in some people having to get off and wait longer). Some of us used the stairs (17 flights of them) and got to the lobby while others were still waiting for the elevator. The panels that are used to select your floor are old, some are broken and most of them frequently record the wrong input (e.g., push "lobby" and it says you pushed "floor 10"). This adds to the delays because the elevator then stops at random floors for nobody. I'd give this property 1 star simply for the elevators, but it's a good location so I'll give them 2. Nothing special really stands out to make this place great. Also, if you book through Expedia, Expedia will under-report the "pay at property" portion. You'll end up paying more than Expedia says (for "destination fees and taxes") and Expedia won't help you resolve it.

Room wasn’t ready to check in at 4:40. After 2 hours waiting in the bar and hotel hallway we had to leave for our evening show without having a room assigned yet. It was cold and rainy so having to wait was very inconvenient.
