The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I chose the smallest room, and it was cozy rather than cramped, well-appointed, and really comfortable. The subway station (1,2,and 3 lines) was right across the street. The complimentary breakfast was good, and there was a Starbucks next door (that opened at 5am). Had a great stay.

I had an excellent day at the Frederick. First of all, the hotel staff was very obliging and able to get me into my room two hours early, at 1 PM, when I arrive just after a long plane flight. Also, the hotel is very convenient and several great restaurants, stores, etc. are right around the corner in Tribeca. Including several delis, bagel, shops, and pizzerias. There is a Starbucks 10 yards from the main hotel door. Finally, the Hudson River is three blocks away and a great place to go jogging in the morning. Two thumbs up!

The front desk wasn’t exactly friendly but I’ll chalk it up to a busy weekend. I had a very small room that was very bare bones e.g. no mini bar. That’s all fine. I was at the end of a hallway where all the cleaning supplies were stored, which wasn’t exactly inviting. The housekeeping staff were the friendliest of anyone I encountered. I don’t think I’d stay here again.

A great stay in Tribeca!

We had a lovely one-night stay at the Frederick. Miracle and Anthony were particularly helpful when my husband was setting up to work down in the lobby area so I could sleep. And great location in Tribeca! We'll be back!

We liked the property location in tribeca. The room was clean, staff very kind. The breakfast was very good. The only thing is about the reservation check in, it was very a grey zone about our rooms and their availabilities. At first, they weren’t available due to a leaking problem, no other rooms were available except one suite that was offered to accommodate both couples which we declined, then suddenly, other rooms were made available after waiting in the lobby for 20 minutes. We even have started to look elsewhere to find rooms in another hotel. At the end, all 4 of us had the sense that the hotel was overbooked and we were offered to stay in one room instead. It got all sorted out at the end but we had to insist. When we travel for a whole day, 9 hours drive, being exhausted, the last thing we want is to have problems with our rooms that were finally available after multiple versions of the story..

Nice hotel in good condition

This hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were all extremely helpful, even as I was exhausted and frazzled after my trip. I had everything I needed. Internet was fine, parking is a little ways off but OK. The only quibble I had is that I couldn't quite close my curtains, they could have used those stick things to help close them, I used my chair to close them enough for privacy. Definitely I would visit again despite this.
