Was given the wrong room and their only comment is that is was the third party’s fault(aka Travelocity). Was supposed to have a balcony with a partial mid-town view. We were in a room on the second floor looking at ugly gray concrete walls.

I have stayed at the Gotham 30 times or more. And for whatever reason the entire time we were there the noise from outside made it impossible to sleep! There was garbage trucks from 10pm to 11 am when we checked out . And the noise was unbearable!! I’m not sure what was going on but I’m not sure if I would stay again.

The staff had 10/10 customer service. Very welcoming and kind. The best part of our stay. As for the conditions of the room, we were a bit disappointed. The pictures online seemed a lot nicer than it was in person. The whole room was dusty. Also the hot water from the sink came out brown for an entire day. Not sure what that was about. The hotel is in a great area, which is why we chose it. But the rooms could be updated and cleaned more.

The hotel had a king and a roll out couch, the couch was a very uncomfortable futon. 14th floor was loud. King was comfortable, bathroom was tired. Good location for GrandCentral/Theaters no lobby to sit.

This was a clean functional hotel room with very limited amenities. The front desk was not helpful during checkin, there were no streaming platforms to choose from (apparently only some rooms have them), the coffee machine was not working. They did replace the machine however, the experience staying at this hotel was just ok. Not good, not bad.
