Elevator takes forever, very small rooms even for NYC. It was just ok. Nothing really to complain about. Close to MSG and Penn Station but a little run down area. If you need to be in this area, its a good hotel. If you are coming for vacation, stay on the Eastside closer to Lexington Ave.

I will automatically down review any place that tries to coerce me into giving them a 5-star rating. As we were checking out, the manager comes and arrogantly and sleazily says "we usually don't offer baggage storage for free (that's nonsense, all other hotels do it), but we'll give it for free if you give us a 5 star review. And he hung around over my shoulder. That's an automatic down review for you.
