Great value and well located boutique hotel. Room was nice sized and very clean and comfortable. I’d easily recommend it if you are staying for broadway shows (just two blocks away) or for midtown shopping (Rockefeller Center is also 2 blocks away). Older but very nice, especially for the price.

Good value, convenient location for Broadway or other events. Room was spacious by NYC standards, clean and very quiet. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was very courteous. No problems at all — only wish they had coffee makers in the rooms (min refrigerator only).

Having been assured by the receptionist that we had one of their best—and even her favorite—rooms, I was shocked by what we found: 1. No facilities to make coffee. 2. The lock on the bedroom door didn’t work (though this was eventually fixed). 3. Only two towels provided for four guests. 4. Just two glasses for four guests, and no water supplied. 5. Significant mold in the shower. 6. A generally indifferent attitude toward any concerns we raised. Overall, the experience fell far short of expectations, especially given the initial promise and the high cost of the room @ >$700.
