This is a stunning hotel lobby and great amenities! I will say that the sofa bed accommodations were really the only downside for us- that was exceptionally uncomfortable. Otherwise, everything was fabulous!

Our stay was lovely, however it was very noisy between the adjacent rooms, street noise, construction, etc. It would definitely be worth it to try to get a room on a higher floor. The staff was friendly but not overly helpful.

1. The line for checking-in was long. (I was the 6th in line waiting to be checked-in). 2. The room was not cleaned properly (an old, dirty wine bottle was found under the bed). 3. The bedding was damp. 4. The "destination charge" was unreasonably imposed. with additional state and city tax onto it for a total of $40+ per day.

I'm a native New Yorker but wasn't familiar with this hotel. I really enjoyed my stay and I want to give special praise to Alizza, the woman who cleaned my room. Excellent job. Overall, a lovely staff.

The hotel was beautiful and in a great location, and the staff was very friendly, however, when we plugged the clothes iron and the hairdryer in (separate outlets btw), the power went out in my room and my brother's room next door. I was booked in a standard king room and the bathroom was really small.

I loved the location, free coffee in the lobby, very nice staff, super comfortable bed and daily housekeeping. Ole and Steen right across the corner, yay! Short walk to Grand Central, easy to walk to and from shows in the evening but far enough away from Times Square to be peaceful. Will definitely stay again.

I booked the hotel from hotel.com where I had paid the charges for the room and taxes. However, we were charged with $35 dollar for the destination fee and this destination fee aslo has $5 plus taxes. so average $40 plus/per day for the destination fee in addition to the room charges and taxes. In addition, They charged $73+ for the breakfast of two (one adult and one kid), minus the $35 breakfast, so about $38/day for just scramble egg and beacon for one adult and a kid. The thing is we were not told that the breakfast was charged by each person, while the credit for the room.

The hotel has a good location and the rooms are acceptable, but several issues made the overall experience disappointing. There’s no fridge or room service, and the breakfast is both overpriced and underwhelming. You’re better off walking a few blocks north on Lexington Avenue for a much better and cheaper breakfast. The biggest frustration was the number of hidden fees not disclosed by Expedia. There’s a $35/day “destination fee” plus a $15 tax on top of the already steep $80/day parking charge—bringing parking to about $95 per day. Additionally, you’re required to notify the front desk in advance when you need your car. Despite giving about an hour’s notice, my request was never passed on, and I had to wait an extra 20 minutes in the lobby. All in all, expect to pay roughly $135 more per day than the listed rate between parking and extra fees, and plan to dine elsewhere.
