Outstanding stay! Great location and friendly staff. We found a cute bar around the corner called the Snafu Bar - great hangout after a long day of sight-seeing! Will stay here again.

I was very disappointed with my recent stay. There was visible mold in the bathroom and vents, which caused me to get sick. The check-in process was extremely frustrating—long lines, only 1–2 staff members at the desk, and unhelpful attitudes. We were told to return later because our room wasn’t ready, and when we came back hours later, we had to wait in another long line just to receive our keys. On top of that, charging a fee per bag to hold luggage felt unreasonable, especially since this should be a complimentary service for guests. I’ve stayed at many Marriott properties before and always felt the quality and service matched the brand’s value. Unfortunately, this location did not meet that standard at all.

This is a stunning hotel lobby and great amenities! I will say that the sofa bed accommodations were really the only downside for us- that was exceptionally uncomfortable. Otherwise, everything was fabulous!

Room was great, older but nice. The staff were so friendly but they were under staffed; long lines to checkin. Bar doesn’t open until 5. You get a food credit but it only covers one breakfast, forcing the other person to spend $40 for standard fare.

Didn’t love this hotel unfortunately. I was very surprised they made you pay for baggage storage. I pre-checked in for my hotel and then they told me my room wasn’t ready when i came back after the check in time? Disappointing. Oh and after I checked out, someone from the company called me about time share opportunities? Very tacky. Not the worst place but I wouldn’t be rushing to book this place again.

Check in was at 4pm. They had 1 staff working and we had to wait over 20 mins in line to check in. Once we reached the counter we were told that rooms were unavailable. The staff seemed unfazed by the long line and unhappy guests. Having one person working reception during check in time on a Sat in NYC is unacceptable. We had to leave our bags unable to change before heading to a Broadway show, that we had booked based on hotel check in time. We then discovered the next morning that the wrong card was charged for the room. Based on the already poor customer service we chose not to bring this up. Later that day a rep from the hotel had the nerve to call us and try to sell us more reservations at a later date. When I expressed my frustrations of the day she simply stated that she would write it down. I’ve been to this hotel before and it was great which is why we came back. But never again.

It was quaint and charming, but lacking on many basic amenities. No robes, no coffee maker, no double paned windows, no bathroom light switch inside the bathroom. And toilets that sound like jet engines when flushed. Not a bad stay, but would not choose this hotel again.

It’s a 2 minute walk to central station which is incredibly handy. Walkable to Times Square, restaurants and Central Park. The building is definitely older and could use some cosmetic couch ups. But it was a nice place to stay with our teenagers for a few days.

The front desk lady that worked on Friday morning around 10 am was very rude. Key card was not working had to keep going back downstairs for a new one. The washroom had pee around the toilet on the floor and i stepped in it. I asked for a kettle and they brought us one with black mold inside
