Outstanding stay! Great location and friendly staff. We found a cute bar around the corner called the Snafu Bar - great hangout after a long day of sight-seeing! Will stay here again.

I was very disappointed with my recent stay. There was visible mold in the bathroom and vents, which caused me to get sick. The check-in process was extremely frustrating—long lines, only 1–2 staff members at the desk, and unhelpful attitudes. We were told to return later because our room wasn’t ready, and when we came back hours later, we had to wait in another long line just to receive our keys. On top of that, charging a fee per bag to hold luggage felt unreasonable, especially since this should be a complimentary service for guests. I’ve stayed at many Marriott properties before and always felt the quality and service matched the brand’s value. Unfortunately, this location did not meet that standard at all.

Don’t Trust Them!

This was the worst stay of my life. Summer in NY is already quite hot and the air conditioning wasn’t working. I understand when things break and are out of your control. I do not understand when management continually lies about coming to help over 12 hours, making us wait and thinking that there is going to be a remedy. There were other issues as well, but this was the most egregious. I travel a lot and am a Gold Bonvoy Member, but I will NEVER stay here again. Don’t lie to me.

Good place to stay, accessible to Times Square, Grand Central station, Summit One Vanderbilt. Small rooms but in the heart of NY so can’t complain. They give free water as much ever you want and there is a Starbucks right below. Food was okay, but overall stay was very good.

Did not accommodate my paid reservation for a King room. Told me only Queen rooms were available. Blamed it on Expedia and told us the hotel was oversold. Elevators are a MAJOR safety concern. Multiple instances with elevator not opening and people having to sound emergency alarm

It was noisy at night and the complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were empty. There is an 35 daily fee in addition to room rate- was not aware when I booked, Also, tv had a line going through it —-room needs a new tv. Other than that the hotel was great.
